Incrementalism and Sleight of Hand

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Sabbath services. For those of you in DVD-land, here is an ad, Is There Really A God? Nice ad done by Phil Neal, our editor. Before I get into the sermon I want to cover a couple of things here. Here is a transcript of an audio interview with Dr. Maurice Hilleman about Merck, the pharmaceutical company, and vaccinations. Notice the thrust, all the news.

You know, when it’s on all stations pushing it and everybody, even those who were against it in the past, you know that the word is out to push it. The only objective that this could be is to, especially with the children, make them all wards of the state.

They then suggest that because these vaccines are first tested in Russia, they will help the U.S. win the Olympics because the Russian athletes will all be “loaded down with tumors.” (Thus, they knew these vaccines caused cancer in humans.)

There’s another one with it that is also interesting. It goes along with it, which is how that in the Middle East they all gathered around for entertainment while they watched the burning of the Jordanian pilot and they were all cheering and dancing.

I’ve said before to watch Turkey. Remember that they had the Ottoman Empire to 1917 and they would love to recapture those territories, but I don’t think they’re willing to be aggressive to do it, though they want to do it. But wait until it gets so bad that they will be asked to do it, and the United States will say, ‘Fine, that’s wonderful, we’ll finance it for you.’ Because they have a half-million soldiers.

During the Korean War when the Turks fought with the Allies over there, the Chinese feared the Turks more than anyone else because they were the most ruthless. So watch Turkey. You hear it pop up on the news, ‘What about Turkey?’ They’re right on the border! Speculation: I think they’re waiting to be told to go in and straighten it all out. And they will say, ‘Yes, but we have got to stay there with troops and administrative government.’ That’s how they will get their empire partially back. Where that will lead, we don’t know. Long article. Then here’s another one about all the things concerning vaccinations; another one against vaccinations. So we’ll have to see where this is going to go.

If you want a title for this sermon, it is this: Incrementalism—bit-by-bit-by-bit, step-by-step-by step—and Sleight of Hand. Keep you busy focusing on certain things over there, while they are doing other things over here. It’s just like what I brought up last week—just the right amount of wrong.

Let’s think on this: With incrementalism and sleight of hand, look over here but don’t look over there, let’s see how things have developed. We’re going to learn a lesson in Dan. 12 that’s very important for us to understand: The depth of the meaning of the Bible. Sometimes just a small phrase, in its fulfillment is very vast.

After giving all these fantastic and unbelievable prophecies and all the symbolism in them, he wanted to know what it was. Wouldn’t you? Yes, Lord, what is all this going to be?

Daniel 12:4: “But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end….” Little did he know that the key to unlocking Daniel was the book of Revelation or Revelation is the key to unlock Daniel, either one. This next sentence is quite a sentence, not very long, not complicated, but let’s look at all the ramifications of it:

“…Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (v 4). Think about that knowledge that “…shall be increased.”

How much knowledge do we have in so many things now just from this one sentence? And all the automakers, plane makers, motorcycle makers, skateboard makers and bicycle makers ought to be happy for the next one—and “…many shall run to and fro.” We got here because of this, which means they have to have energy to do it. You have to have factories, you have to build it. 

It follows along with what we’re doing with this next book, From a Speck of Dust to a Son of God—Why Were You Born? One little statement in the Bible leads to great fulfillment worldwide. Of course, when this was given Daniel didn’t understand it. 

Verse 8: “But I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, ‘O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?’” It was too much to tell Daniel and it wasn’t time to reveal it.

Verse 9: “And he said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and refined. But the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand’” (vs 9-10). 

Who are the wise? We certainly know that the infamous Jonathan Gruber was one of the wise, the intelligent of the world. He said that they passed the healthcare bill because of the stupidity of the American people and the lack of transparency, while out of the other side of the mouth of the president he said that we would have the most transparent regime in history, which means it will be the most intransparent. 

Why is it that very little of Christianity today understands what they need to understand. Some of them have a fair amount of understanding. They go along, a lot of them understand about the beast. A lot of them understand about the mark of the beast, but they are so blinded because they say that the Law has been changed or done away. So therefore, they are limited in their understanding. 

God says of all the intellects of the world that they are without excuse in saying there is no God, because God manifested it to them by the things that were created, so they are without excuse. What is the key? How is it that so very few people can say they really understand and they really know when all of the elite of the world do not understand and do not know? We’ll see that in just a bit amplified a little more.

Psalm 111:10: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom… [means the love of God, repentance in our day, baptism, receiving the Holy Spirit, etc.] …a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.”

Jesus made some other statements concerning the scribes and Pharisees and also a prophecy of the religions of the world and Christianity that would follow that. That’s why we are dedicated to restoring original Christianity with what we teach through the Word of God. God has given His Word and He has a key to understand it: #1 you do His commandments!

What’s one of the very first commandments you come to understand? It’s simple because even the orthodox Christianity understand it, which is the Sabbath, the seventh-day. The Catholics are a little more shrewd. In Europe they change the calendar to make Sunday the seventh-day of the week. So, when you say seventh-day to them, they look up on the calendar and say, ‘Blessed be the pope. Sunday’s the correct day.’ Not so!

There is a whole lot of meaning in Matt. 24. I want you to think about what we explained concerning how this one sentence in Dan. 12 affects the whole world. That requires all the businesses, all the manufacturing, all of the things that we see going on, all of the technology that we have today, just those few words.

Matthew 24:1: “And after going out, Jesus departed from the temple; and His disciples came to Him to point out the buildings of the temple.” It was a tremendous, beautiful site where the temple was. 

From the top of the temple area to the bottom of the brook Kidron was about 650-feet, so that was a real edifice. It was a steep, steep cliff and they put stones on the outside of the cliff to come up where the rock bed was for the temple. You’re going to learn why the Mosque of Omar is not sitting on the temple area. If they would just read what Jesus says here, they would understand it.

Verse 2: “But Jesus said to them, ‘Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you… [How powerful is the Word of God? Just like we pointed out in Dan. 12!] …Truly I say to you, there shall not be left here even a stone upon a stone that shall not be thrown down.’” That’s very simple, very direct, straightforward. 

Where do the Jews worship in Jerusalem? The western wailing wall! What does that consist of? Huge, large stones one on top of another, which means that is not where the temple was. But it was further south. That’s where Fort Antonia was, Roman property. 

Sidebar: The Jews are beginning to understand where the temple originally was. When it’s time in God’s plan for them to build the temple, they will build it where it used to be when David gave the plans to Solomon to build the temple in the temple area. But not one stone is standing upon another where the temple was.

Furthermore, it was like this. Here is the Fort Antonio, which today is the Mosque of Omar. Then you come down and here is where the temple area was. Here is where David’s house was and it was the Hill of David, because there was another little mound to the temple mount. Later in the 160s_B.C. the high priest Hyrcanus tore it down. If you look at the geology today, it’s different from what it was when the temple was there. Many of the Jews are beginning to understand where it was, so you keep your eye on that.

Verse 3: “And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him alone, saying, ‘Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the completion of the age?’”

Then He sat down and said, ‘I want to tell you a little story here. I want you to go out and really work hard, because I’m going to die and be resurrected, but it’s not going to be for 2,000 years.’ No, He didn’t, because you have to put everything together.

Verse 4: “Then Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Be on guard, so that no one deceives you. For many shall come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ”; and they shall deceive many’” (vs 4-5)—which means the majority.

What we are going to see, these things came in cycles. These things repeat all the way down through history. In the events leading up to the destruction of the temple, these were the very things that took place. Down through history we’ve had the same thing, wars and rumors of wars, and everything like that. Christ is not going to return until everything is ready.

Let’s talk here a little bit about “…Be on guard so that no one deceives you….” You know what orthodox Christianity is all about, so we won’t get into that. People can be deceived in many ways and even in the Churches of God. When you read Rev. 2 and 3, the Churches of God had problems with people coming in preaching false doctrine. 

To show you a little incrementalism that has come from one man, who really understood the Truth up to this point, but now be making a false conclusion. Since he’s written a book, The Ten Lost Tribes Found, and three other books about the tribes of Israel at the end-time, he did a very good job with those. 

Now then, a little incrementalism away, which is this: ‘the blessings and cursings do not apply to the modern-day descendants of Israel, because Lev. 26 does not say so.’ It is true Lev. 26 does not say so. Here is a lesson in Bible study: you do not do subtraction. You add things together. Scriptures do not fight each other, they complement each other.

Deuteronomy 28:45: “And all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God…”

• Is God still in existence? Yes!
• Are the descendants of Israel still in existence? Yes!
• Are the commandments of God still in existence? Yes!

“…to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. And they… [all the blessings and cursings] …shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever” (vs 45-46). If there are modern-day descendants of the tribes of Israel, which there are hundreds of millions of them, it still applies! Which God do they claim to serve? 

Verse 47: “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things, therefore, you shall serve your enemies…” (vs 47-48). Is that happening today? Yes, indeed! We have to be on guard all the time.

That’s why doctrine is important because, as a result of keeping the commandments of God and loving God, you begin to understand the Word of God. When we talk about things that are going to be happening that are in the Word of God, we’re not trying to put anybody down.

There’s an old saying: ‘if the shoe fits, wear it.’ We are to preach the Truth of God. We are not to say, ‘Everybody understands everything, so now we don’t need to be concerned with any of these things at all anymore.’ No, because human nature is still the same.

Matthew 24:6: “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars….” That’s all there is in the world that has ever been, starting with Cain against Abel. These come in cycles, but do we have them today? 

Let’s also add another thing that I’ve brought out before. With our modern television and news reporting, we hear of things anywhere in the world about as fast as they happen. If you take this and apply it to the end-time, which you have to do, then all of these things are, again, being worked out as Jesus said.

“…and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different place. Now, all these things are the beginning of sorrows” (vs 7-8). I think we’re in the sorrows now. We’re past the beginning. They are here.

Verse 9: “Then shall they deliver you up to affliction…” Are there people being killed for the name of Jesus Christ? Are they wanting to deliver up your children for vaccinations? becoming wards of the states? They’re even wanting in Virginia to have one of the state representatives from the Department of Education there to interrogate the children about what their parents believe. So these things are coming—incrementalism—a little here, a little there, add a little more to it. It all falls right in again. We could say it another way:

• thesis—the way that things are
• anti-thesis—I’m against the Bible

That’s what’s happening now; then there’s a conflict. When the conflict arises, then there’s 

• synthesis—you resolve the conflict

How are they going to resolve the conflict of evolution with the coming one-world religion? The pope is beginning to endorse evolution and aliens. Amazing! Incrementalism!

“…and shall kill you; and you shall be hated by all nations for My name’s sake…. [In the end-time, that’s happening just at a tremendous rate.] …And then shall many be led into sin…” (vs 9-10). 

You take that one statement, “…led into sin…” How many things could you add to that? Gay marriage, homosexuality! On the religious side: Sunday-keeping, holiday-keeping! On the drug side: a little pot won’t hurt you! We will see that that’s going to be all across America and in the world. Never thought you’d live to see that, but it will come. “…be led into sin…” Are people led into sin? Where do they start children, leading them into sin? Cartoons, video games, sex education in schools, sex practice in schools, all of that! This ties in with vs 4 and:

Verse 11: “And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many.” There are more prophets out there telling you more and more things. You have to check them all out.

Jonathan Cahn is supposed to be a Jew and says that he’s figured out Jesus was born in the month of Nisan. That’s not true! But if anybody calls he’s got people answering all the phones and you couldn’t get anything through to him anyway. And besides, since he’s a prophet, he’s right.

Remember all false prophets have some things that are true. But you have to examine everything that they do.

Notice what comes along with it, v 12: “And because lawlessness shall be multiplied… [in the governments, in religions, in everything that men do] …the love of many shall grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, that one shall be saved” (vs 12-13). God is giving us some encouragement in the end-time, though we see all of these things going on. We need to endure.

None of this that I’m covering here has been left alone in the past. We’ve covered it time and again. Verse 14: “And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.” Now we have the means and ability to do so. 

I hope that the Churches of God will do it in Truth, rather than their own ideas. Or whether in contention, whether partially, but the Truth will get out there completely, “…then shall the end come.”

As we’re going through here, take each one of these phrases and sentences and multiply it out. Here’s the key that we need to look for, which will come, that’s after the temple is built:

Verse 15: “‘Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy place.’ (The one who reads, let him understand.)” How do you understand? 

• by keeping the commandments of God
• by studying the Word of God
• by rightly dividing the Word of God

Notice that this is a parenthetical statement. Jesus was talking. Why would He say, “…The one who reads, let him understand,” when He was talking? This was an addition put in there to clarify it by the Apostle John when he was canonizing the New Testament. Why would he do that? Because he understood 2-Thes. 2 about ‘the man of sin, the son of perdition coming into the temple of God, saying he is God.’ That didn’t happen when the temple was destroyed in 70_A.D. Did not even come close to it.

So therefore, how are we going to know unless we have the Bible, the New Testament? And John put this statement in there: ‘The one who reads, let him understand,’ because He didn’t understand it. The most that John understood was this: in Rev. 11 he was told in a vision to measure the temple, which was at the end-time. So, if he is told to measure the temple, this is a vision saying it’s going to be re-built before Jesus returns. You add all the Scriptures together. Remember, Scriptures do not contradict one another. You have to add it together. That’s why we are told: it’s ‘precept upon precept; line upon line; here a little, there a little’and we put it together.

At the same time, we’ve seen what Daniel said. We’ve gone over Rev. 13 many times, too, but again, take each phrase and see how in fulfillment it is expanded out, and how much just a few words in the Bible in actual fulfillment can fill volumes and volumes.

Revelation 13:7: “And he was given power to make war against the saints… [It’s going to happen! That will take place, just as sure as ISIS is over there doing it right now.] …and to overcome them; and he was given authority over every tribe and language and nation.” 

Tie that with Matthew 24:14: “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Here is the conflict that is coming. They’re already beginning to psychologically fortify themselves against Christians. There are more articles and things coming out against the Bible and against Christianity.

Revelation 13:1: “And I stood on the sand of the sea… [that’s people and nations] …and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” Satan’s last worldwide government.

Verse 2 tells us that this connects back to Dan. 7 and it connects with all of the past empires and the nations that exist out of them today. Remember, he’s given power over, v 7: “…every tribe and language and nation.” Is that a one-world government? Yes, indeed! It’s described from Daniel

Verse 2: “And the beast that I saw was like a leopard… [that includes Greece] …and his feet like the feet of a bear… [that includes Persia or Russia. What is the national symbol of Russia? A bear!] …and his mouth like the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne and great authority.” 

What did Satan tell Jesus? ‘If you’ll worship me, I’ll give you all the power and authority and glory of all nations, for it’s given to me, and I give it to whomsoever I will.’ So, this tells us Satan the devil is ‘the god of this world.’

Verse 4: “And they worshiped the dragon, who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?’” Do people worship Satan the devil, thinking they’re worshiping God? or a god? or a force? Yes, indeed!

Verse 5: “And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to him; and authority was given to him to continue for forty-two months.” That is after the deadly wound was healed.

But notice the whole thing here, it says, v 3: “…and the whole earth was amazed and followed the beast. And they… [the whole earth] …worshiped the dragon, who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast… [just like 2-Thes.] …saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?’” (vs 3-4).

• What are they talking about? ‘We need to get everybody together and stop all the wars!’
• How are you going to do that? 
• What is the answer? 

Revelation 17:13: “These all have one mind, and shall give up their power and authority to the beast…. [How do we know this is the end-time?]: …These will make war with the Lamb, but the Lamb shall overcome them; for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful” (vs 13-14). That is all of those who will be resurrected.

So, when we go through and read the Bible, there’s a vast amount of information and knowledge behind every word and phrase.

What I want you to do is just see that all of these things are coming parallel with each other, some a little bit ahead of the other, some a little behind, but they’re all going to take place. We are seeing with the pope that he is really making progress. We just heard the announcement that September 24 he is going to address the United States Congress, House of Representatives and the Senate together. 

It’s like one commentator said, I think it was Michael Savage: He’s no more religious than whatever. He’s political and all you’re going to do is hear the one-world political thing. However, I do not think he’s the last pope; there’s too much that needs to be done. We need one who will do more than what he is doing. Each thing builds upon another, like all of the prophecies.

Here is the other beast, Revelation 13:11: “And I saw another beast rising out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon; And he exercises all the authority of the first beast before him…” (vs 11-12). He has power over a one-world religion and that is coming. Keep your eyes on that. 

When we read these things, expand out with the fulfillment of what it’s going to mean from just a few words in the Bible.

“…and he causes the earth and those who dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed” (v 12). He will be described as ‘Christ manifested in the flesh,’ but he will be the beast power possessed of Satan the devil!

Verse 13: “And he performs great wonders, so that he even causes fire to come down to the earth from heaven in the sight of men…. [that’s going to be very convincing] …And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by means of the wonders that were given to him to perform in the sight of the beast, saying to those who dwell on the earth that they should make an image for the beast, which had the wound by the sword, yet was alive. And he was given power to give life to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast also could speak; and he causes everyone who will not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, to receive a mark in their right hands, or in their foreheads” (vs 13-16). That is the mark of the beast; this is coming!

Let’s tie something else in with this, because v 17 says: “So that no one may have the ability to buy and sell unless he has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” 

Several times, in recent years, Harry Curley—who used to work for Wells Fargo Bank out in Simi Valley—said that he believed that the mark of the beast would start with the corporations and then come back from there. We’re going to see he’s exactly correct. Let’s tie the beast in with business.

Revelation 18:3: “Because all nations have drunk of the wine of the fury of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the power of her luxury.” The elite international corporations.

Here’s an interesting little article: They’re using the older technology of the digital angel, the little rice-sized chip that goes in between the thumb and the index finger. It’s being used in business.

Remember incrementalism: you start it, you get people used to it. This will be a phenomenal thing, because here’s what it will do. This will be so good. Remember, not all good comes from God. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and most of the good that comes from that ends up in sin. Look at all the problems we have with ID theft. Anthem Blue Cross just got hacked for 80-million people. Have you ever wondered why don’t they really prosecute these people for identity theft? Because then they couldn’t bring in the mark of the beast!

They’ve developed it beyond the chip to have it on your right hand, on the top of your hand with an invisible tattoo. If you have the mark of the beast,

• you will have your identity
• you will be able to buy and sell
• it will be your passport
• it will provide you with medical
• it will open and close your computers
• it will open and close your doors
• it will open and close your cars and start them
• you won’t need any locks
• it will give you information

 Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil!

Now there is full-fledged attempt in Sweden to do it. They do it afar off so that people won’t raise a lot of fuss. Sweden is the most non-Christian-Christian country in Europe, so a perfect place to start. Obviously they don’t read the Bible. Here’s the article:

Office Puts Chips Under Staff’s Skin

The way they do, they have like a hypodermic needle and they just stick it right between the web of your right hand, between the thumb and the index finger, and inject it. This is one where you have to get near to the apparatus to make it work. But let’s see what it does in this business compound. They’re having a whole technology building in Sweden where everyone who works there will have this. 

Want to gain entry to your office, get on a bus, or perhaps buy a sandwich?

Remember they have the wave technology now. They also have the bump technology, with two cell phones you can open to each other and transmit data one from the other, just with a bump. Goes right from one computer to another computer in the phone. 

We're all getting used to swiping a card to do all these things. But at Epicenter, a new hi-tech office block in Sweden, they are trying a different approach—a chip under the skin.

Felicio de Costa, whose company is one of the tenants, arrives at the front door and holds his hand against it to gain entry.

It opens! If you don’t have it, you can’t get in. 

Inside he does the same thing to get into the office space he rents, and he can also wave his hand to operate the photocopier.

See how that is? Lock you into something that is indispensable.

That’s all because he has a tiny RFID (radio-frequency identification) chip, about the size of a grain of rice, implanted in his hand. Soon, others among the 700 people expected to occupy the complex will also be offered the chance to be chipped.

Probably make it a condition for rental. And if you want a job it is a condition of your employment. Can’t buy and sell; can’t work. Think of the ramifications. What I want you to think is how this is going to come about. Tie that in with what I brought last week about the coming depression and the collapse of all money and then a world currency—see sermon: Prepare for the Collapse of the Dollar. They need a world currency before they have the mark of the beast. 

Why do they need that? Because the elite establishment of the world is making too much money on the drug trade worldwide! As long as it is illegal, they’ve got to have money, paper money or coin money, to do the transaction to buy the illegal drugs. If it’s on the chip it goes right to your bank and they know what you’re doing. 

The total enforcement of the mark of the beast will be quite a ways down the road. But what I’m getting at is this: incrementally. This whole building is going to use it (as noted in the article). Just think of the reports and the testimonies: ‘Why, this is such a wonderful thing. I don’t need any keys. As a matter of fact, I’ve even had my house converted to it and my car converted to it. All I need to do is just BOOP, open the car door. BOOP, start the car. BOOP, get into my house. BOOP, turn on my television.’ Amazing.

Along with access to doors and photocopiers, they're promised further services in the longer run, including the ability to pay in the cafe with a touch of a hand.

On the day of the building's official opening, the developer’s chief executive was, himself, chipped live on stage. And I decided that if I was to get to grips with this technology, I had to bite the bullet—and get chipped, too.

All voluntary! Sleight coercion! There will be people who say, ‘I never want to work here.’ Well, go get a job someplace else. For the time being you can do that.

When the government gets involved and says you do it, you can’t get away without paying your taxes. You must report every transaction. They will have the ability to have the computers to follow everyone in the world. Remember the comment I’ve made from time to time: I wonder what those big buildings in Utah that the government is building is all about. Millions and millions and billions of square footage for computers, super-computers. It’s coming! 

The whole process is being organised by a Swedish bio-hacking group which was profiled by my colleague Jane Wakefield recently. One of its members, a rather fearsome looking tattooist, inserted my chip.

First, he massaged the skin between my thumb and index finger and rubbed in some disinfectant. The he told me to take a deep breath while he inserted the chip. There was a moment of pain—not much worse than any injection.

I asked him whether people really wanted to get this intimate with technology.

“We already interact with technology all the time,” he told me. “Today it’s a bit messy—we need pin codes and passwords. Wouldn’t it be easy to just touch with your hand? That’s really intuitive.”

So there you go, it is coming! What do we do? How do we get by in these days? First of all, we understand that Satan the devil is the one who is behind all of this!

It makes you wonder what the Apostle John thought when he saw all of this. I don’t know what the picture looked like that he saw when he wrote all of this. Remember what it says: the wise shall understand, but none of the wicked shall understand; the wicked shall do wickedly. Remember what we read in Rev. 13 about Satan the devil.

Ephesians 2:1: “Now you were dead in trespasses and sins.” This is not only a statement concerning those in Paul’s time, but it’s a statement for all people for all times, and a prophecy to us today.

Verse 2: “In which you walked in times past according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working within the children of disobedience.” 

It’s going to be quite a thing when it comes. Who knows right from wrong, good from evil? The Bible is going to be debunked!Everyone is going to think that this new coming one-world religion, which will require a new pope, is really God’s answer, and God’s answer to stopping all wars. ‘Look at this marvelous, wonderful man. He stopped wars.’

Verse 3: “Among whom also we all once had our conduct in the lusts of our flesh, doing the things willed by the flesh and by the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as the rest of the world.”

Is this coming one-world religion going to be Christian? No! It’s going to be Babylonian, all religions together. They’ve been working on this for a long time. Remember the sermon I did years ago, I think it was clear back in 1993, the world’s Parliament of Religions meeting in Chicago. The first one was in 1893 and they’ve been working to form a new-world Scripture, taking wisdom sayings from all religions.

Here it is, I’ve had it for years: World Scripture, Comparative Anthology of Sacred Texts. All ready to go, from all religions. Some from the Bible, some from the Koran, some from all of the religious writings of men. How does Satan get it through? Incrementalism! and then sleight of hand! You reach a certain critical mass and then you push hard for it. That’s what they’re doing with vaccines. They finally have all the media lined up to push this. So, they’ll probably get it in. They want to jail parents who don’t want to have their children vaccinated. They tried to palm it all off on these ‘right-wing radical nuts.’ 

They did a survey and most of those who refused the vaccinations are up in ‘liberalville’ in Northern California, just across the Golden Gate; 57% of the parents don’t want their kids immunized. It is true that they are organic-eating, and so forth. But it’s not the ‘right-wing nuts.’ You always have to have a villain that you accuse so you can get done what you want to get done!

We will see this is what we are up against. I hope you weren’t too surprised with this World Scripture. It’s a project of the International Religious Foundation. This was 1991, how about that, 24-years ago. They were working on it for years before that. The comment was made: had my last flu shot 20-years ago and haven’t had one since and haven’t had the flu. Does that tell you something?

Sidebar on flu shots: they get all the ‘expert’ scientists together, name them all Jonathan Gruber. You know who Gruber is? He’s the one who wrote the healthcare bill, 2300 pages that you had to vote on it to find out what was in it. How’s that for transparency.

People have just been absolutely hood-winked and taken over. Think what it’s going to be down the road in the future when everything gets really desperate and then they offer the solution. ‘We can end this, but you’ve got to get that on your right hand or on your forehead! If you don’t do that, you can’t buy, you can’t sell, you can’t work, you can’t get any medical treatment.’ Where are you going to live? What are you going to do? How many people will be intimidated by it. Also, with those, even the Seventh Day Adventists and some Churches of God, they say that the mark of the beast is Sunday-keeping, so they’ll say it’s all right to get it. So there you go, incrementalism, a little misinterpretation, false doctrine and teaching.

Ephesians 6:10: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord…” That’s what we need to be doing, being “…strong in theLord…” Just don’t have so many things crowding in upon you that you don’t pray and you don’t study.

“…and in the might of His strength” (v 10). All of these things are going to be gigantic spiritual and mental battles to fight against the things in the world, which will come at us as so nice. ‘Look, isn’t that convenient?’

Verse 11: “Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil… [he brings things that look good, with benefits and rewards] …because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and against powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual power of wickedness in high places.” Isn’t that true” (vs 11-12). I cannot help but think of the different governments of the world, and especially our own government. Amazing!

Verse 13: “Therefore, take up the whole armor of God…”:

• prayer
• study
• Word of God

“…so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand…. [that’s what we are to do] …Stand, therefore, having your loins girded about with Truth…” (vs 13-14). Don’t let any lies penetrate you. Don’t let things that sound logical, but are not the truth persuade you to be giving in to their ways of reasoning.

“…and wearing the breastplate of righteousness… [that’s the obedience to God] …and having your feet shod with thepreparation of the Gospel of Peace” (vs 14-15). Always the Gospel to live by, the Gospel to preach, do the things that we need to do.

Verse 16: “Besides all these, take up the shield of the faith… [you’ve got to have the faith of God to do it] …with which you will have the power to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And put on the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying at all times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in this very thing being watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (vs 16-18).

Paul wrote that to the Ephesians back there during his day, but it is also a prophecy for our day. What we need to do is realize that there are going to be difficult situations in the future. Here’s some of the things that we can find in the book of Psalms to help us. 

Psa. 13 is just a little short Psalm of six verses before you come to Psalm 14:1: “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God!….”’ So, we’re going to be fighting against all of these things. There are times when you will feel that really you’re standing out there all alone.

Psalm 13:1: “How long will You forget me, O LORD?... [think of how he felt; what he went through] …Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?…. they’ll be times when you reach that point] …How long shall I take counsel in my heart, having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, Lest my enemy say, ‘I have overcome him,’ and my foes rejoice when I am moved. But as for me…” (vs 1-5).

In spite of all the difficulties, the emotions and the traumas, and we will have many, many of those in our lives just ahead of us.

Verse 6: “But as for me I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD because He has dealt bountifully with me.” Even in the face of death, because the resurrection, which will be absolutely indescribable, will be the next moment of your thought.

Psalm 42:5: “Why are you cast down, O my soul... [a lot of these things make you feel depressed] …and moan within me?.… [What is the answer?]: …Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the salvation of His countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore I will remember You from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermons from mount Mizar” (vs 5-6). 

Verse 8: “The LORD will command His loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, even a prayer to the God of my life. I will say to God my Rock, ‘Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?’ As with a crushing in my bones, my enemies taunt me while they say to me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’” (vs 8-10). Would we be able to stand up with that kind of taunting, with that kind of ridicule? Yes, they’re starting at it right now.

Verse 11: “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.” Psalms 42 and 43 are very similar. This is why I gave the sermon in times of trouble to study the Psalms. Every human emotion that you would go through are contained in the Psalms.

Psalm 30:10: “Hear, O LORD, and be gracious unto me; LORD, be my helper.” We need the help of God in everything we do. When things are not going right, just pray to God, ‘Help me, God, help me.’ When you’re doing things that you know you shouldn’t do and you can’t control yourself, you stop and say, ‘God, help me.’ God is there to help!

God knows what we need. That’s why we have all these Psalms. That’s why all of these people have gone through different things for our benefit. Psa. 54 is a good way to start your prayer if you’re really depressed and down and you need to let the Word of God and God’s Spirit guide you in it.

Psalm 54:1: “Save me, O God, by your name, and vindicate me by Your might. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth, for strangers have risen up against me, and violent men seek after my soul…” (vs 1-3). This is probably also a prophecy of some of the prayers of Jesus. Remember, He was one man against the world and Satan.

“…they have not set God before them. Selah. Behold, God is my helper; the LORD is with those who uphold my soul. He shall reward evil to my enemies. Destroy them in Your faithfulness” (vs 4-5). We can pray for that. That’s one way of praying for your enemies. God will take care of them. Don’t you go out and take it into your own hands though.

Verse 6: “I will freely sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.” Our sacrifices are the sacrifices of the things that we do spiritually—prayer and study and doing the things that God wants us to do.

Verse 7: “For He has delivered me out of all trouble, and my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.” I could tell you some stories of things that has happened in our lives because of those who have treated us much like here in this Psalm and God has taken care of it.

In the Love Series, the first sermon that I have is entitled, Remember, When All Else Fails, God Loves You. This will help you understand why Jesus said not to fear those who can kill the body, but after that they can’t do anything. They can’t kill the life, because that comes from God. This is the greatest thing for us to understand, the greatest comfort that we can rely on. It’s a promise that we can yield ourselves to God and God will hear us.

Jesus’ disciples didn’t have a clue that He was going to be killed. They may have had a suspicion after He was arrested, but this was before He was arrested. And all that Jesus would go through on that Passover Day. But in the day after the resurrection, 

John 16:26: “In that day, you shall ask in My name… [that’s why all prayers are ended in the name of Jesus Christ] …and I do not tell you that I will beseech the Father for you.” You don’t have to go through Jesus Christ; He has given this authority. He is our High Priest.

Verse 27: “For the Father Himself loves you…” When all else fails, remember God loves you! In spite of how miserable you may feel. In spite of the problems that you are going through, God loves you and will give you the strength to change and overcome.

“…because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God” (v 27). That’s a pretty powerful thing in our trials and difficulties:

Let’s see what Peter wrote, 1-Peter 5:7: “Casting all your cares upon Him, because He cares for you.” Especially when you feel 

• no one cares for me
• no one hears me
• no one listens to me
• everything has gone wrong
• I had a bad day
• I injured my foot
• I hit my thumb with a hammer
• I broke my glasses
• I dropped the dishes
• the food burned in the oven
• the debt collector knocked on the door

Whatever else can go wrong. I’ve had days like that and you’ve had days like that.

Verse 8: “Be sober! Be vigilant!.…” In other words, don’t go try and drown your sorrows by drinking. If you’re having troubles, stop drinking! “…Be vigilant!….” Don’t be giving in to all these things.

“…For your adversary the devil is prowling about as a roaring lion, seeking anyone he may devour. Whom resist, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are being fulfilled among your brethren who are in the world” (vs 8-9). Think about all the persecution that the Romans were bringing upon the true Christians at that time. We’re going to see it happen again.

Listen, only from American can the Gospel be preached! The only thing that is going to forestall some of these things coming is the preaching of the Gospel. That’s why it’s important that the Churches of God—all the members in particularly and ministers get right with God—t hat they really preach the Truth. Don’t preach nice, smooth, soft things when trouble is on the horizon. Let them know that God is there to help. Warn the world! Tell them:

• you’re following lies
• everything you believe is a lie
• the government is a lie
• the churches of the world are a lie
• all the religions of the world are lies
• the whole economic system is a lie

There is relief; there are times when it will look like there will be no relief, but it will come. 

Verse 10: “Now, may the God of all grace, Who has called us unto His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, Himself…”  God wants to perfect you. That’s what He wants to do. Was Jesus perfected by the things that He suffered? Yes, indeed!

“…perfect you… [How? With His Spirit in you!] …establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the power into the ages of eternity. Amen” (vs 10-11). 

These are promises that God has given. That’s why you’ve heard me say: We are to:

• stand in grace
• walk in faith
• believe in hope
• live in love—the love of God.

This is especially true in this age that we’re living in! 

Hebrews 13:5: “Do not allow the love of money to influence your behavior…” Every politician wherever you are, listen up!

“…but be satisfied with what you have; for He has said, ‘In no way…’” (v 5). Nothing is going to correct your problems and your suffering and the difficulties you are going through except God. You may need money, but unless God blesses you, all that money will do you no good. You may need intervention, but unless you trust in God, there won’t be intervention.

“‘…will I ever leave you…’” (v 5). This is a fantastic verse. Notice the promises here: No way! You may have troubles and difficulties, but God isn’t going to leave you. He wants to help you through them and through the troubles.

“‘…no—I will never…” (v 5). Notice: no way, no, I will never. Three negatives, letting you know that God will never let you down!

“…forsake you in any way.’ So then, let us boldly say, ‘The Lord is my Helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’” (vs 5-6). 

In these days we’re living in—and they’re going to come, you combine this message with the one I did on Prepare for the Collapse of the Dollar and this will round out the picture of what is happening. So there are a lot of things that are going to take place. It’s going to come in ways that we never, ever, ever would have thought, yet it’s all right there in the Scriptures.

Remember, God will help you in every way!
