Dear Brethren,

After His resurrection, Jesus suddenly appeared to His apostles and some of the disciples when they were gathered together for fear of the Jews. At that time, according to Luke, He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures: "And He said to them, 'These are the words that I spoke to you when I was yet with you, that all the things which were written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.' Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, 'According as it is written, it was necessary for the Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. And in His name, repentance and remission of sins should be preached to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. For you are witnesses of these things' " (Luke 24:44-48).

Later, at a designated place in Galilee, Jesus appeared to many of the disciples (Matt. 28:10)—"over 500 brethren" at one time (I Cor. 15:6). As Mark writes, He commanded them to preach the Gospel and to baptize believers: "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. The one who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but the one who does not believe shall be condemned' " (Mark 16:15-16). Matthew also records Jesus' instructions: "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even until the completion of the age' " (Matt. 28:18-20).

Notice Jesus' last words to His apostles just before He ascended into heaven. Luke tells us: "The first account I indeed have written, O Theophilus, concerning all things that Jesus began both to do and to teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after giving command by the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen; to whom also, by many infallible proofs, He presented Himself alive after He had suffered, being seen by them for forty days, and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God. And while they were assembled with Him, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem but to 'await the promise of the Father, which,' He said, 'you have heard of Me. For John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit after not many days.'

"So then, when they were assembled together, they asked Him, saying, 'Lord, will You restore the kingdom to Israel at this time?' And He said to them, 'It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has placed in His own authority; but you yourselves shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth.' And after saying these things, as they were looking at Him, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight" (Acts 1:1-9).

The apostles, however, did not realize that Jesus would not return for another 2,000 years—nor did they understand that their witness to the "ends of the earth" was actually a prophecy for the end times. During their lifetimes it was impossible for them to literally "go unto the ends of the earth." However, through their writings—the New Testament, which God has preserved for us—the Gospel is now going to the "ends of the earth"!

In spite of persecution and deception, the true Gospel has been continuously preached over the centuries by Jesus' true servants. Speaking of the end time, Jesus promised, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed [and published, Mark 13:10] in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matt. 24:14). Today, God has provided the technology to make this possible—for we live in a world of instant digital communication. Printed media still has a vital role, but television, radio and the Internet make it possible to proclaim the Gospel as never before—by the churches of God and through individual ministries.

Look at the tools we have today. Foremost is that everyone has a Bible. Computers enable us to communicate around the world—to preach the Gospel to the "ends of the earth" and to feed the flock of God the spiritual food contained in the Bible. Plus, we have copy machines and printing presses to make Bibles, books, booklets, and letters—and express shipping services to deliver them anywhere in the world.

If anyone is truly seeking God, He will lead them through His Spirit into the truth of the Bible—and there is certainly a vast amount of biblical information available on the Internet. The entire world now depends on the Internet—in personal affairs and in business. But the most important use of the Internet lies in the preaching of the Gospel to all who will listen—and especially to those God may be now calling to be in His kingdom.

In addition to the churches of God, numerous individuals and organizations are warning of potential wars, natural disasters, famines, pestilences and destruction. Even a few Protestant churches correctly preach some prophecy (even if mixed with false doctrines). But the truth of God is still the truth of God!

Jesus warned His disciples that there would be many false prophets. They began to appear almost immediately after the Church was founded on Pentecost, 30 AD. The trend has continued to our time. Thus, with the latter days in mind, we are warned of deceivers and even false Messiahs: "Beware that you be not deceived; for many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and, 'The time has drawn near [the end has come].' Therefore, do not go after them" (Luke 21:8). In Matthew, Jesus adds: "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'He is there,' do not believe it. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall present great signs and wonders, in order to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have foretold it to you. Therefore, if they say to you, 'Come and see! He is in the wilderness'; do not go forth. 'Come and see! He is in the secret chambers'; do not believe it" (Matt. 24:23-26).

Because so many schemes, lies and hypocrisies have been exposed in religion, politics, business and education, people are checking up on everything—separating truth from error. This is the way it should be! "Prove all things, hold fast to that which is good" (I Thess. 5:21). Many are doing exactly what Jesus tells us to do: "If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free" (John 8:31-32). This is the fundamental principle behind all we do—to faithfully present the truth of God.

God has blessed us with tremendous growth this past year: over one million distinct visitors downloaded massive amounts of materials—articles, booklets, sermon transcripts, audio and video sermons and studies. Our sites are online 24/7 with hundreds of sermons and Church at Home segments. Our Spanish site, Iglesia de Dios Cristiana y Biblica, has increased greatly!

Hello to everyone at CBCG who are called by God's name. I love the DVD sermons provided by Fred and the others who are inspired by God to bring us His word through Church at Home. I fellowship with others when I can … to keep in contact with those God has called into His glorious family. [However, in these groups] many of the sermons contain only milk, not the meat we are meant to receive—which the CBCG does provide. I am so concerned about my brothers and sisters … who have become lax for the lack of God's word and truth, and who follow after men (ministers) who tell them what they want to hear. I have been watching your videos online every night, and I am starting to learn things. When I try to explain these things to other Christians, they get a little upset with me and tell me I am wrong. I have quit going to the church I was attending and I am now searching for a new church that is open to God's word [and that keeps] Saturday. Mr. Coulter: I have not been satisfied with Protestantism for some time. The Lord led me to your Web site and I now have the second edition Bible you and others translated and wrote. It took a while for me to start to understand your Bible teachings. I still don't get it all but I am getting closer. When I get the money, I'm going to get the Passover book. I've tried to share what I've learned with others—even my mother and father, but they (mostly my mother) just get mad [when I bring up the] Saturday Sabbath! I strongly believe that the "Land Sabbath" commandment must be kept with diligence by all who seek to honor our heavenly Father. After all, this is the whole duty of man. I was wondering if you have any material or suggested reading regarding how the "Land Sabbath" should be honored if one does not own land. Some people not only rest their own land, they also refrain from buying produce from the land during the 7th year. Others only rest the land they own or have control over. Thank you! We have finally found what we have been searching for. We were both raised Catholic; after a time, we fell away from the hypocrisy and wandered aimlessly for many years. We tried the Seventh Day Adventists and the UCG, but realized faults with both. We were baptized in a lake five years ago and keep the Sabbath at home. Now, we have found Church at Home and your simple understanding of God's prophetic word (we had so much trouble in the past understanding [the Bible]). C.C.—We saw an ad in the Australian Readers Digest for a DVD on Christmas, etc. Can't wait each time for new DVD sermons! Thanks for asking.

L.M.—You will hear more truth about what the Bible is really about from Fred Coulter and Church at Home than you will at any man-made denominational church that I know of. I highly recommend listening to Fred at Church at Home.

H.V.—We have been listening to Fred's teachings for 17 years now and never tire of them. We are always learning so much. We learn about God and His Word all the time.

M.C.—We came into the church in 2004. I had received WCG, PCG and UCG literature during my childhood and teen years, but my family never attended. We left UCG to go to COGWA, and it was better for a while. But it was the same stale messages with no growth and zero spiritual fellowship. In a period of a year or two, UCG/COGWA lost about 10 families and a few even went Protestant after being in the church for 20+ years. These were guys giving sermonettes! Not people wishy-washy in their faith, I thought. I had heard of Fred a couple of years earlier but we started fellowshipping with a small group in Cleveland this past January. I never tire of listening to Fred. And I learn so much from his messages—things I've never even heard others preach about.

Moderator—Look at the fruit!! I learned more through Fred Coulter and CBCG than I had in the previous four decades!! And the resources/books he recommends are always filled with accurate information and truth!! We were told about Fred about 5-6 years ago by a cousin who had been listening to his sermons and reading the literature he sent. It took a while but we finally got going on it and it was just so refreshing and amazing. God is using Fred and a few other good men to teach the truth—not afraid to step out and tell it like it is! By "we" I mean both my husband and myself, as we are in this together! LOL.

L.L.—My parents have been members and have listened to Fred Coulter since 1994, maybe earlier. I joined the church in 2006 and was baptized. Fred Coulter proves everything through the Bible. Unlike regular preachers who preach a sermon on one book of the Bible, Fred takes you through different books and chapters of the Bible. He is serious. Not out for money. My family drives over a hour and a half one way to attend a CBCG church in Houston. I love the people in our church; they are genuine. They are all family. We love each other and worry about each other. We are a church family that hugs each other and prays for each other.

Moderator—My first exposure to God's truth was as a teen in the 60s, when we were introduced to the WCG. I was baptized in the late 70s. The journey has been quite interesting, but I began to know something wasn't "right" by the middle 80s. Had a lot of questions. God led me to where I needed to be later on—and I have no regrets, all said and done!

E.G.—WCG 1975 to 1995; UCG 1995 to 1997; ICG 1997 to 2000; CGI 2000 till now. Church at Home—just found it and shared the site with my daughter and her family. My mom was with Radio Church of God. We are now 84 and 62, and my daughter is 40. Two of her four children requested baptism this year. One is 13 and the other is 8. Praying that they will still feel this desire as they get older. I love the church.

L.L.—We used to watch and listen to [Herbert] Armstrong, then his son. I'm impressed with Fred Coulter. I'm still learning. There is a lot to learn. A lot I don't know and a lot I don't understand. I'm following and listening to my parents' advice. They explain what I don't understand. I'm 47 and prone to forgetfulness. Makes it hard for me to explain my religious beliefs to other people. I don't know all of the books and verses to refer to on certain subjects. I have found it easier for me to just keep quiet until I know enough about subjects such as the Sabbath on Saturdays and pagan holidays, and know where I can immediately find the chapters and verses to back up what I'm trying to prove.

D.S.—I was raised Pentecostal. I stopped going to church altogether. After my eldest son passed away and I was extremely depressed, God started to open my understanding of His ways. I did a lot of hunting and Abba did the guiding—and Fred Coulter's was one of the first audio sermons I heard.

L.S.—It takes time and lots of prayers to come out of this world and its traditions that we are (and were) so attached to.

R.O.—Great testimonies beloved brethren! I love to hear those personal stories. I falsely considered myself a Christian (a follower of Christ) for thirty+ years. During those times, I constantly studied the Bible seeking for answers—for the truth, nothing but the truth. I fixed my mind to the simple condition that if I had to put my faith in a God, He must be the true God. Because of that mindset, I have had many questions relating to religion and God. Throughout that part of the journey of my life, many questions arose but unfortunately were not answered through orthodox Christianity. In spite of that, somehow God has shown me that He is real and He always guides me through the many obstacles in my personal life.

To make a long story short, thanks to the Internet, knowledge is indeed being multiplied in fulfillment of the prophecies in the sacred Scriptures. Around the end of 2006, I began searching for answers through the Internet. I listened to Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong's teachings and read histories of the true Church of God. At this time, God began to open my mind to understand His Word more clearly. Then, I encountered the story of the fall of the WCG. But I didn't quit because I knew and believed that God directed me to this point in life for a special purpose and a special reason: Jeremiah 29:11—"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." I have read many things, both negative and positive, about what happened in and to that organization founded by Mr. Armstrong. At the same time, I earnestly prayed that God would help me find a fellowship group of brethren where God wanted me to be, so I could partake in the Work. I studied the UCG, the LCG, and many other WCG-splinter-groups. Then, by faith, God allowed me in the LCG for 3 and 1/2 years.

Then, because of the many errors in Bible translations (I have about 35 translations), God caused me to hunger for a faithful version that must be done by His faithful elect. For I have come to believe wholeheartedly that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever" (Psalms 111:10). Then, I asked the LCG regional pastor if he knew of any such translation done in the Church. He told me that there was none!

About a year later, a brother asked me for a ride home from Sabbath services. On our way, we talked about my need for a faithful version. At this time, I had not heard about Fred. But God led me to ask this brother if he knew of anyone, in the COG, who might have done a translation of the Bible. He mentioned Fred Coulter's Bible—that he got it for free, but didn't read it. He said it was not a good Bible. "Who's Fred Coulter?" I asked. He told me, "Oh, he left the church long ago, even before Mr. Armstrong died," etc. I was curious. "Could you show me your Coulter's Bible?" I pleaded. He replied, "Sure! But I have to find it first. I don't know where I put it!" When we got to his apartment, I wasted no time. "Please, find your lost Bible!" I pleaded. Then he took me into his "junk-room," so he called it. The Bible was found in the corner beneath other junk. "Would you mind allowing me to borrow your junky Bible for one week?" I asked. He replied, "Sure! You can have it. It's yours! I don't read it any way."

That's how I got hooked up with CBCG and Church at Home and Fred Coulter. It was God who led me to Fred, without a doubt. I ordered a few more of the Faithful Version, The Holy Bible In Its Original Order, for my family. In our century, besides Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, I have found no other man who can teach the truth like Fred Coulter. We left the LCG a few months after I got the Bible. Thanks for reading my story.

J.S.—There is an elderly widow who I have known from a COG group. Her mom was with Radio COG and then she was with WCG, where she met and married her husband. She was in PCG after the WCG—and after her husband died, she went through a lot of trials there. She was not treated well and was kicked to the curb by that organization. I was still a member there and was the only one to keep in contact with her, as the PCG instructs their members not to have contact with any brethren who are not in their organization. A year later we were out of there also. I recently had her put on CBCG's CD list and had them send her some of Fred's books. She has been very excited and told me that she is learning more—and that she is more encouraged and excited than in her last 45 years as a part of God's Church! She does not have a computer, so it's great that she can have those CDs and books sent to her.

J.N.—We also love Fred's sermons. He is the best teacher out there!

H.V.—Thank you all so much for sharing how you were led to CBCG and Church at Home. Many years ago when we left Worldwide because they were going to Sunday and leaving the truth, my husband and I prayed for God to lead us to where He wanted us to be (even if it meant PCG). That same week we got a care package in the mail from Fred. Someone my husband had spoken to called "black sheep" had requested it for us. (We have never found out who that was, but wish we could thank him with our whole heart.) It took a few weeks of listening and then my husband called Fred and asked him to send us everything he had. He laughed and said that there was so much that he couldn't send it all. Long story short, that was over 17 years ago. We have never found anyone else who has taught as well or as much, and who has the mission to lead us to God rather than to himself or an organization. Very much a humble man. We thank God for him and pray for him every day, that God will continue to strengthen him and guide him in wisdom to lead God's people. We know that God was very much involved in making sure the Faithful Version got produced. We have been blessed to have been able to help with it, and every time our energy would flag on our part of the project, God would renew our strength and grant us skills and abilities to do our part. We praise God so much for that.

J.S.—You two were wise to ask God to lead you to where He wanted you to go from the start! We chose Global COG and stayed with it until the split, and then stayed with Rod's part of the split, which was LCG, for about 7 months after that. We couldn't take any more and PCG looked more in line than all the other groups we knew of, so we ran over there. We were there a very long time, but had a good local minister who we remembered from WCG. He was eventually disfellowshipped by PCG. He eventually died. It was never the same after he was no longer our local minister. We had so many trials there and were quite unhappy there for a number of years. I knew we would be out of there eventually, and I knew it meant I would lose my family as well as many wonderful friends who remained there—and so I did! Oh well, we are much happier now and so thankful to be far removed from that place. I do miss the family and friends that we were cut off from, but there's nothing I can do about that.

Moderator—It's great how God leads us to places where He knows we will benefit. He has done this for me all my life, but He must have thought this year, "Finally, she's ready!" because I feel so at "home."

C.C.—I was born into a Catholic family. Always thought there was something wrong at school when even the nuns and priests couldn't answer my questions. "It's a mystery." Now I know they didn't have a clue how to answer! I went to JWs, Mormons, brethren, happy clappers, then a small church in a small town who model themselves after the Bereans. They were great. I found out there, through the voice of God in the pastor, that I was not saved … then He called me. What a moment! But God still said to me that there was more to Him. We petered out of going to church while still searching the Scriptures. Then, a tiny ad for the DVD and book Occult Holidays or God's Holy Days—Which? was found in the Australian Readers Digest, which, I might say, was mistakenly being sent to my daughter. We skeptically ordered the book and DVD and, as Fred would say, we were "totally amazed"! We get DVD sermons sent to us now and always end up watching them at once (they are so good). I never thought I would be so starved for information that I would be disappointed when there is no CBCG mail in our mailbox. God bless and thanks for your fellowship!

C.C.—Oh J.S., it was so true! Catholicism is like one big spooky movie! I was terrified of God, and of dying, as a child! When I look back now … they scarred my life with fear and robbed me of a happy childhood. But all is well now. I have the true God!

P.R.—I had a long, circuitous journey, starting from the age of 18, leaving the Catholic Church for a supposedly "Bible believing" Protestant church. As I studied God's Word for myself, I became convinced that I was not getting the whole truth and that "solo scriptura" was in word only. The pray-this-little-prayer-and-you're-saved cult told me it was grace, grace, grace. I was told keeping the commandments was "earning your salvation." What, then, do you do with Jesus' words when He said, "Many in that day will say to me 'Lord, Lord' "? It troubled me greatly! Years later, I was impressed with a very remarkable woman at work. She quietly "lived her faith" in gentleness and humility. A few years later, what started out as a conversation over coffee became an introduction to "The Way of Salvation." I began keeping the Sabbath and Holy days and listening to Fred. Wow, what a difference! The Bible interpreting the Bible. No Nicolaitan traditions! I began devouring Church at Home videos. I was baptized at the Feast in 2011. Oh, and I was smart enough to marry the woman that God used to proclaim His word!

R.O.—Thank God for you … who have been guided by the Holy Spirit to start this thread. The time is near and we must know who our real brothers and sisters are. This is one of the ways to know it!

Moderator—I totally agree!! I have made connections to brethren and cherish that. We are NOT ALONE!! We don't have to be isolated!! My husband and I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to meet some of our Facebook friends at joint church group functions and at the FOT!! Last year alone we met about six folks we knew from Facebook!!

A.A.—I was with the WCG for many years, and now follow Fred online and also get CDs and DVDs. I correspond with people who joined other groups as well, like United. I take whatever is biblical from wherever I find it … and I have found some very interesting information at times.
