Dear Brethren,
At long last, the impeachment of President Donald Trump has ended. After all the investigations of his actions, they found nothing—acquitted! The process, however, exposed the deceitful intentions of the Democrats, as well as the rampant corruption of the “Deep State” and the Washington “Swamp.” From a biblical perspective, the outcome indicates that the fulfillment of many end time prophecies is still a ways off. How many more years, we don’t know.
When considering the fulfillment of prophecy, we need to remember Jesus’ warning about proclaiming His return: “The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My words shall never pass away. But concerning that day, and the hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Now as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of man. For as in the days that were before the Flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark; and they were not aware until the Flood came and took them all away; so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of man.
“Then two shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and one shall be left; two women shall be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, and one shall be left. Watch, therefore, because you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have been watching, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you also be ready. For the Son of man is coming at a time that you do not think” (Matt. 24:35-44).
How Do We Watch? It is obvious that we need to watch world events and examine them in light of Bible prophecy. We do this by rightly dividing the truth of God (II Tim. 2:15). But if we are too focused on watching events, we could miss the most important thing—ourselves!
In his epistle to the Romans, Paul sternly corrects the Jews because they—being Abraham’s seed and having the Scriptures—thought they were in a “special position” with God. They despised Gentiles while thinking that they were righteous and in “good standing” with God. But they were actually just as sinful as Gentiles—if not worse. Notice how Paul corrected them for their arrogant self-righteousness—and think about how these passages could apply to us if we allow ourselves to get into the same attitude: “Behold, you are called a Jew, and you yourself rest in the law, and boast in God, and know His will, and approve of the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; and are persuaded that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light for those in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of the knowledge and of the truth contained in the law.
“You, then, who are teaching another, do you not teach yourself also? You who preach, ‘Do not steal,’ are you stealing? You who say, ‘Do not commit adultery,’ are you committing adultery? You who abhor idols, are you committing sacrilege? You who boast in law, are you dishonoring God through your transgression of the law? For through you the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles, exactly as it is written. For on the one hand, circumcision profits if you are observing the law; on the other hand, if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Therefore, if the uncircumcised [Gentile] is keeping the requirements of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision? And shall not the uncircumcised [Gentile], who by nature is fulfilling the law, judge you, who, with the letter and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law?
“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is external in the flesh; rather, he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God” (Rom. 2:17-29).
When Paul was on his way to Jerusalem, he called for the church elders of Ephesus to meet him in Miletus. This was the last time they would see him. His warning, while primarily for elders, is an admonition for everyone today—especially with so much confusion in the world and the churches of God: “And now behold, I am bound in the spirit, and am going to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall happen to me there; except that the Holy Spirit fully testifies in every city, saying that bonds and tribulations await me. But I myself do not take any of these things into account, nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify the gospel of the grace of God. And now behold, I know that you all, among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom of God, will see my face no more; wherefore I testify to you on this day that I am pure from the blood of all, for I have not held back from preaching to you all the counsel of God.
“Take heed therefore to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this: that after my departure grievous wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will rise up speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after themselves. Watch, therefore, remembering that for three years I ceased not to admonish each one night and day with tears” (Acts 20:22-31).
Today, Satan the devil is working overtime to develop his final one-world religion and one-world government. All religions are slowly coming into mutual acceptance. Even the pope has proclaimed, “It is God’s will that there are all the different religions.” Indeed, Catholic and Muslim leaders are working together to bring about understanding and world peace.
On another key front, Satan is working to destroy all sexual morals—so that even young children can be legally allowed to participate in sexual activities. It is Sodom and Gomorrah all over again. As Satan is tightening his grip on this world, we need to “gird up the loins” of our minds and resist the ways and schemes of the devil and this society. The book of Proverbs gives us detailed instructions on how we can make the right choices to be faithful and walk in God’s straight and narrow path that leads to life: “Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; keep her, for she is your life. Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not into the way of evil men. Avoid it; do not go in it; turn from it, and pass on! For they do not sleep except when they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall, for they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day. [On the other hand, the] way of the wicked is as darkness; they know not at what they stumble.
“My son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Above all, guard the door of your mind [and heart] with diligence, for out of it are the issues of life!
“Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and devious lips put far from you. Let your eyes look right on, and let your eyelids look straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right hand nor to the left; remove your foot from evil” (Prov. 4:13-27).
We are to accomplish this through the power of the Holy Spirit leading us, so that we make right choices. Paul writes: “But if Christ be within you, the body is indeed dead because of sin; however, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Now if the Spirit of Him Who raised Jesus from the dead is dwelling within you, He Who raised Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies because of His Spirit that dwells within you. So then, brethren, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh; because if you are living according to the flesh, you shall die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God…. I exhort you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and well pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service. Do not conform yourselves to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind in order that you may prove what is well pleasing and good, and the perfect will of God” (Rom. 8:10-14; 12:1-2).
The apostle Peter adds this: “Consequently, since Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished living in sin. To this end: that he no longer live his remaining time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God” (I Pet. 4:1-2).
Here is how to resist Satan and stand for God and the truth: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the might of His strength. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and against powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual power of wickedness in high places.
“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and wearing the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Besides all these, take up the shield of the faith, with which you will have the power to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one; and put on the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying at all times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in this very thing being watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Eph. 6:10-18).
Every day, in every way, we need to remain close to God the Father and Jesus Christ, because the fight is ongoing. As Paul writes: “Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving…. And in everything—whatever you do in word or in deed—do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him” (Col. 4:2; 3:17).
Brethren, we thank you for your love and prayers for us and all the brethren. We pray for you every day that God will continue to bless you in everything, heal you of any sickness, strengthen you in your trials, and watch over you and protect you. Thank you for your tithes and offerings that you freely give—which enable us to continue to reach out to new people and other brethren. We have enclosed our semi-annual Web sites’ report and letters from the brethren.
With love in Christ Jesus,
Fred R. Coulter

Dear Fred: Thank you, thank you for the Bible on CD! I love it! My eyes aren’t good and this is so helpful. Now if only someone would do [an audio] version of Halley’s Bible Handbook! I’d love a CD study help for A Harmony of the Gospels and The Seven General Epistles.
Your life is an amazing work of diligence. Thank you so much for breaking things down and making the most wonderful study system ever! I am now going through my Commentary CD of the Bible. Thank you so much, Mr. Coulter. So helpful.—SB
Dear Pastor Fred: I was just thinking how grateful I am for the CBCG. Until I knew about the CBCG, I was stuck in a rut and the muck of nominal Christianity. Most of us, like King Josiah, grew up with this false nominal Christianity—and just accepted it, going through the motions, never questioning—until something happens to wake us up.
Thank you for all you and the others do to bring us the truth of God. You bring us hope and a richer life. I now know more and have a better life than I ever did. I want to read and study everything I can get my hands on from the CBCG. It’s as if I have been starved of spiritual food before coming to the CBCG. Now I am well fed and my husband is now a baptized believer as well. It makes me think of a verse in Isaiah 61: God has given me beauty for ashes. I know that as we remain faithful to obey, study, and pray, we will keep growing. Thank you all.—EUR
Dear Fred & Brethren: Hello to all. There are a lot of bad things in this world; but in the midst of all that, there is a good work going out to light this dark world! With Christian love and prayers.—MH & RH
Dear Fred: I was just exclaiming to my housemate how impressed I have been with the character of this ministry. The accountability, the responsible stewardship, the authenticity with nothing being done as window-dressing. I am openly associated with and supportive of this ministry. And you always associate with the best of quality … here with Robert, the Bible, the Interlinear. I thank God so much for providing this for those seeking Him. The tools we have available to us in this age are there to assist us in sifting through the false narrative, exposing that which has been hidden behind the curtain.—JM
Hello Fred: I am curious, are there any members in or near my area who get together on the Sabbath? I was raised a 7th Day Adventist but left the church years ago—though I always believed in the 7th day Sabbath and do not believe in the pagan holidays. I came across The Holy Bible In Its Original Order, which eventually led me to your Church at Home website and the other sites. I am enjoying the studies on the Sabbath and I am so looking forward to understanding the Holy Days. I have read your book on the Passover, which answered all my questions and taught me so much.
I truly believe I should be keeping the Passover. How does one do that alone? I have to admit, I do not understand the Holy Days yet, but I am looking forward to learning and understanding God’s ways. I am married to an unbeliever. I am not saying that I could travel much to worship with fellow believers, but I would like to get acquainted with those who believe as you do. Thank you for your time.—RP, California
Hi Fred: I have your Church at Home DVDs and your Bible in the original order and your harmony of the gospels—as well as other books you have offered. I have been a pastor in the past as well as a musician and organist for Christian churches and a synagogue. I have never found a more correct Bible translation and interpretation as yours. Thank you.—GW, Vermont
Dear Fred: The study on “The Law of the Spirit of Life” was one of the most effective sermons that I have ever heard in my life. I have been struggling with a specific sin for years. As I listened to this sermon and followed with the transcript, I paused it several times to meditate on what you were saying. I spent two days on it because I’ve always wondered about Romans 7. You actually made it so alive that I was able to use it to overcome this lingering sin.
It was constantly entering my mind and I would end up sinning. But this sermon was so effective that I was actually able to overcome this particular sin. We have to put what we know into action to remove thoughts and keep sin out. It was amazing—to finally overcome after years of battling. God’s Spirit is power, but we have to use it.
I am so thankful. The greatest feeling is when we realize that we must allow God to help us. We can’t do it without God’s Spirit. We must crucify the flesh and live in the Spirit. Live by the Spirit and not by the flesh—that makes it all possible. It’s the miracle of healing and transforming our carnal mind. I took two days to let it sink in.
Now as I study God’s word it becomes so much clearer. All the Scriptures that you used have become alive and better understood. It’s almost like years of growth just from this one sermon. A better understanding of grace than ever before.—RG, California
Dear Fred: Thank you for the wonderfully insightful transcript series on Hebrews. Your teaching made it so inspiring to learn all that God is doing through the tremendous sacrifice of Christ. Words cannot express how that series has filled me with peace, and deep gratitude for our great God and His Son. Thanks also to your team that puts these series together and mails them out. Please send me the transcript and MP3 on the “Love Series.” Sincerely.—BW
Hi Fred: Just a quick note to thank you for the wonderful sermons for this year’s Feast of Tabernacles. As I was going through them for the Kidz Korner and Teen packages, I was amazed at how beautifully you painted a picture of the millennium and our jobs. Although we are aware that there will still be IFMA during that time, your explanation of it and how we need to deal with it was great. You put it all in a new light. We have been so blessed to be called to God’s truth—and to your teachings and the CBCG. With much godly love and affection.—CN
Dear Fred & Brethren: Thank you for all the sermons and lessons. I’m up to chapter 7 in Romans. The series is wonderful and is giving me more insight into God’s grace. By “charging all under sin that He might have mercy on us all” by our faith in the sacrifice of Christ—that sinks deeper into my mind every time I hear it. Thanks so much! And thank you for the holy day messages too. Christ’s love.—RM, Ohio
Dear Fred: We just finished listening to the Last Great Day message and wanted to tell you how deeply we have been impacted by your Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day sermons. Your dedication and passion for unraveling and teaching the Word of God is infective and humbling. We are so grateful that we found you. Thank you.—M & C, California
Good morning Fred: I had a wonderful Feast at the CBCG site in Bellaire, Michigan. All the sermons were inspirational. I thought the one you gave on Job was one of the best ones I have heard for gaining an understanding of that book. Our hosts, Albert and Charlotte Jones, went out of their way to serve the brethren. They were exceptional in seeing to it that everyone enjoyed the Feast. I had written a couple of months ago that I listen to your sermons online, so you don’t have to send the CDs. But I still want the monthly letter and everything else you send out. Thanks again for an uplifting Feast. Until next year.—RVP, Michigan
Dear Fred: I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our Feast in Pigeon Forge. As always, it was a loving Feast. Everyone was so caring. If the Feast is this wonderful, what a fabulous time it is going to be when we are in the Kingdom! The sermons were so wonderful, as always. We love all the brethren in God’s Church. Thank you for all you do to teach us. We pray always for our brethren and our teachers in Christ. Love and prayers.—SB, North Carolina
Dear Fred: We are so blessed to keep getting wonderful sermons and so thankful for the continued growth. We would like to get that new booklet, How Credible is the Bible? Could we get two? Your letters are so wonderful and informative. Thank you for all the time you take to write and speak the truth.—SH and KH, Alabama
Dear Fred and staff: Enclosed are offerings for the first and last holy days of the Feast of Tabernacles. Thank you for the pre-recorded sermons for each Feast day. It was truly a blessing to have that instruction here at home. In all the years of keeping the Feast (since 1972 in Worldwide), I don’t recall anyone ever teaching as clearly as you did in “The Solomon Syndrome” and “The Job Syndrome.” And it was truly encouraging to hear you say that Satan is not going to have the last word on all of the aborted babies. How truly wonderful God’s mercy and love is! Thank you!—BW
Dear Fred: What a blessing to be able to hear your Feast of Tabernacles and holy day sermons! Thank you so much for doing all of that work before the Feast so we could have it here at home! God has truly blessed us with His truth, and with your inspired teaching! Thank you, and of course, thanks to our great God! Sincerely.—BW
Dear CBCG: Hello to all and thank you for the work you all do in getting God’s Word out. One doesn’t know how many people these CDs and sermons might help as times get more evil and we get closer to the return of Jesus. I thank God every day for the CBCG. I believe God is very pleased with this organization.
I appreciate the study guides. When the “famine of the word” is on the world scene, we won’t starve if we have these transcript books (even if CDs won’t work due to some electrical crisis). I also appreciate how you all work in unity. And I appreciate how Fred dives right in to set doctrine straight when he gets word of one of the churches of God changing doctrine. A “prayer rock” of all things! That would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. I’m working hard to be ready for winter. Minnesota winters can be wicked. Thank you.—JW, Minnesota
Dear Fred & Dolores: How are you? Really enjoy your weekly visits via DVD. Always learning something new each time. Guess I have forgotten some things along the way! You are always opening a door into God’s Word as you lead us to His Kingdom. God bless you because you bless us with your sermons.—KA, Georgia
Dear Fred and CBCG: Hello to all and hoping all is well with you. I hardly know where to begin because there is so much I want to say. As we continue to listen to your Sabbath sermons, read your books, watch your videos, and receive your monthly letter, we are so thankful, encouraged, uplifted, and blessed in our spirit! We feel true Christian love and humility coming from your words. We see that you truly love the brethren and that preaching the Gospel is a priority in your life as God is directing you. Thank you for being a yielded instrument to Him. We have almost finished the Assaults on the Church book and CD. Amazing what we have learned about the 7 Churches then and today—with all our splits since WCG days. We see more clearly now what should not exist in the Body of Christ, especially as we look back to when we were “ruled over.” We loved hearing sermons from the other elders, especially “I am A Worm” by Steve Durham.—DH, Arkansas
Dear Fred: I just finished viewing “Church at Home and Safety.” I recall an article regarding a shooting at a Living Church of God service. God has provided safety for us as we are able to be taught the truth at home. I discovered you on the Day of Atonement, 2010. This will be my tenth year listening to you and studying your books and growing in grace and knowledge on a daily basis. Changing cbcg.org to truthofgod.org was a great idea. I hope someday to meet you in person. It feels like I’ve known you all my life. Thanks for everything.—RG, California
Dear Fred: I so appreciate your ministry and teachings. I have been a Christian since 1981, but learned a year ago about the true Sabbath and other truths in God’s Word. I would like to know if there is a way of connecting with other true believers where I live. Because I have decided to live by God’s Word, I am rejected by those who think I’m wrong. My husband is dying of CHF in a nursing home and I am so lonely. I do have my two adult sons, but they aren’t believing about the Sabbath yet. I want to open my home to other Sabbath-keepers and tell others, yet no one listens. Please help me find others near me. Thank you and God bless you.—PB, Ohio
Hi Fred: The Faithful Version is one of the finest testimonies of God’s work. Spiritual life thrives within this accurate rendering of God’s Word. May God continue to richly bless this work. Fred, God blesses you with a teaching talent that penetrates the lukewarm comforts of our modern world. Mostly unseen to us, the fields are white for harvest. As one of the students of God, I thank Him every day for this work. May God, with all His glorious might, continue to protect and inspire you.—JG, Canada
Dear CBCG: I [recently] requested a copy of The Christian Passover. I am a 7th Day Adventist currently studying the Bible with as much detail as is possible for me. When studying the Passover’s “between the two evenings” in Exodus 12, I came across Coulter’s text. I am impressed with the analytical approach and the evidence provided on exactly what the expression means—apart from any “authority” other than the Bible. Coulter’s text changed my whole understanding about when the Passover in Egypt was: not the night beginning Nisan 15, but the night of the 14th! The text made plain the whole chronology of the Exodus. A text worth sharing with the brethren. Looking forward to receiving the Passover book soon.—DRD, Argentina
Dear Fred & Dolores: I hope you are both doing well. Thank you so much for the Bible on CD. It means so much. My eyes get tired after a lot of reading. The CDs are so much help. Every time I sit down, I turn it on and listen. You did a great job and I know it took a lot of time. I also appreciate all the sermon transcripts and CDs. There is so much garbage on TV—and the news. It’s nice to have good things coming into the mind. I also love the online [GoToMeeting] Bible studies on Friday evenings. I’m very thankful for you two, and for all our elders. Much love and prayers to you both.—LI, Florida
