Dear Brethren,
As we approach the Feast of Pentecost, it seems like America, as never before, is under siege—from invasions of illegal immigrants, violence and murder, mass shootings, widespread theft, spiraling drug abuse, rampant sexual promiscuity, diseases of all kinds, and lawless government—from local to national. Yet no one knows why we are facing all these crises. And no one knows the solution to these massive problems.
Now that Satan is out of his closet, sexual perversion is rapidly increasing—including the sexualization of children. Astonishingly, the United Nations and the World Health Organization are now promoting the legalization of the sexual perversion of adults with children! They want the whole world to be as Sodom and Gomorrah! And this will bring God’s wrath as nothing else can!
Even worldly “Christianity” realizes that the root cause of evil is sin—yet most people do not grasp cause and effect. And because Protestant teachers claim that the laws of God have been abolished and that all the Old Testament has been fulfilled, they are ignorant of God’s laws dealing with sexual perversion as found in Leviticus 18 and 20. Yet various sexual perversions are being openly taught in many elementary schools, beginning with kindergarten.
How did this happen? The answer is, they have forgotten God. They do not know what sin is! Since America’s schools and churches have cast away the laws of God, our peoples do not realize that sin is the transgression of God’s laws and commandments—lawlessness! Moreover, the penalties for sin are multiple curses and problems—as automatic as defying the law of gravity! God will not be mocked—by any group or nation, or by anyone. We need to understand that God is fully in control of everything.
Isaiah prophesied concerning the state of the nation (and the world) today: “Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the Lord has spoken, ‘I have reared and brought up children, but they have rebelled against Me. The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel does not know Me; My people do not understand. Ah, sinful nation, a people burdened with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord; they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger; they have gone away backward.
“ ‘Why should you be stricken any more? You will revolt more and more; the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the top of the head there is no soundness in it; only wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; they have not been closed, nor bound up, nor soothed with ointment.
“ ‘Your country is a desolation, your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land right in your very presence, and it is wasted, as overthrown by strangers. And the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, like a hut in a garden of cucumbers, like a besieged city. Except the Lord of hosts had left us a very small remnant [the churches of God], we would have been as Sodom; we would have become like Gomorrah. Hear the Word of the Lord, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law of our God, people of Gomorrah’ ” (Isa. 1:2-10).
Yet how many will listen?
God expounds further through Hosea, showing that when people forget God, they are actually fighting against Him. God calls it a controversy. Notice how this precisely describes what is happening today: “Hear the Word of the Lord, children of Israel, for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, ‘There is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and the committing of adultery they break out; and blood touches blood.
“ ‘Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone who dwells in it shall languish, with the beasts of the field and with the birds of the heavens. Yes, the fish of the sea shall also be taken away. Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another, for your people are as those who strive with the priest. And you shall stumble in the day, and the prophet also shall stumble with you in the night, and I will destroy your mother.
“ ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being as a priest to Me. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children’ ” (Hosea 4:1-6).
Then Satan comes along and sexualizes the children at the earliest age! Continuing:
“As they were increased, so they sinned against Me. I will change their glory into shame. They eat up the sin of My people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. And it has become, like people, like priest; and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their doings, for they shall eat and not have enough. They shall commit whoredom [and abortions] and not increase because they have stopped taking heed to the Lord. Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. My people seek advice from their wooden idols, and their rod declares to them, for the spirit of whoredoms has caused them to go astray, and they have gone a whoring away from under their God…. Will I not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, or your wives when they commit adultery? Even the men themselves go aside with whores, and they sacrifice with temple prostitutes. The people who do not understand shall fall” (verses 7-12, 14).
God is Actively Judging all Nations at all Times: In the book of Jeremiah, we find that God makes it clear how He deals with any nation at any time. And this principle is true whether a particular nation has knowledge of the Law of God or not: “The Word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, ‘Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.’ Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he was working at his wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was ruined in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
“Then the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘O house of Israel, can I not do with you even as this potter?’ says the Lord. ‘Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hands, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel. IF at any time I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck it up and to pull it down, and to destroy it; IF that nation, against whom I have spoken, will turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do to them.
“ ‘And if at any time I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build it and to plant it; IF it does evil in My sight, that it not obey My voice, then I will repent of the good with which I said I would do them good.
“ ‘Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah, and to the people of Jerusalem, saying, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Behold, I am forming evil against you, and devising a plan against you. Return now, each one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good’ ” ’ ” (Jer. 18:1-11).
This is why America is under the heavy hand of God’s judgment at this time—because of all our horrible sins and lawlessness. Today, the number one horrific sin is ABORTION—THE KILLING OF 62 MILLION INNOCENT UNBORN! As God views it, the whole nation is guilty of shedding the most innocent blood—God’s newly created human being in its mother’s womb, mostly the firstborn! From God’s point of view, this is why we have an immigration crisis. It should be apparent that for every unborn baby killed God sends an illegal immigrant—as punishment on the nation—with now over 12 million in the last two years alone! And imagine what the punishment will be for the sexualization of our children—one of the most evil things possible!
Deuteronomy 28 describes many of the curses to come upon our people because of our sins—and included is the wide open floodgates of illegal immigration. Now being relocated throughout the land, these illegal aliens will bring down the nation from within: “The stranger dwelling among you shall get up above you very high, and you shall come down very low. He shall loan to you, and you shall not loan to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. And all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. And they [the blessings and curses] shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed [the twelve tribes/nations of Israel] forever. Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things” (Deut. 28:43-47).
Unfortunately, too many Americans are like Israel of old. They refuse to repent! Jeremiah writes of their reaction to God’s prophecy against them: “And they said, ‘There is no hope; but we will walk after our own ways, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart’ ” (Jer. 18:12). It is the same today. Unless the people of the United States repent, God’s heavy hand of correction will continue—and intensify greatly!
Once again, brethren, though the state of the nation is most precarious, we all need to take hope that God has called us to be in His kingdom. He has given us His Holy Spirit—the earnest of eternal life. When Christ returns, we will be given the task of serving under Jesus to establish God’s way of life over the entire world!
We thank you for your love and faith in serving God the Father and Jesus Christ. We pray for you daily—for your protection, for your healing—that God’s blessings may be upon you in every way. We thank you for your tithes and offerings, used to serve the brethren and for preaching the Gospel—the TRUTH OF GOD TO THE WORLD.

New CBCG Group in the Philippines
Unknown to us, there has been a group in the Philippines that has been following the teachings of the Bible through the Internet and our websites for the past seven years. Recently they asked us to send them Bibles—about 30. The shipping cost would have been $200 for a box (of eight Bibles)—and they needed at least four boxes. So instead of shipping the Bibles I decided to have our elder in Malaysia, Andrew Moses, take the Bibles and other materials directly to them. He contacted them and made arrangements to fly with his family to the Philippines and bring the material with him as extra luggage. What follows is his special report on his most successful trip.

Dear Mr. Fred,
Here is an update on my trip to the Philippines. I had a fantastic trip, and a most profitable one. I unfortunately could not extend my stay due to my work back home. But I do plan to go back at the end of July for several reasons, if the church can fund me.
Let me start with some background on the people there. The Philippine people are very religious, mostly Catholic and Seventh Day Adventist. All the brethren we met are from a Catholic or SDA background. It is a “freedom of religion” country of about 115 million; English is the main language.
How these people got in touch with the CBCG: Two men in their 60s were from the WCG, since 1983. They struggled through the “watering down” period, ending up with the SDA, the only church keeping the Sabbath at the time. But they were not happy, and continued searching for the truth. They eventually became associated with PCG, LCG, and UCG—but were still unhappy. Then a long-time WCG member (who is now with the SDA) gave them a copy of the Faithful Version Bible and God’s Plan for Mankind. Then, in 2015, they went to the main CBCG website—and have since been listening to Fred and reading all the CBCG books and booklets.
They are actively preaching the truth and converting people to the truth. With the group growing, they decided to acquire a meeting place. One of the members, named Joy, had a piece of land given to her by her father, also a church member. With the help of another member, Donnah, they built a meeting hall on the land. It is a beautiful place, with a swimming pool (thinking of baptism purposes). They completed the facility in 2021 and started to have services with 35-plus attending every week—listening to Fred’s sermons and studies.
The group requested copies of the Faithful Version and other materials. Fred decided to send me to visit them and bring the materials, rather than just mail it all. God’s Spirit guided Fred to send me there without knowing any of the history of the group. On Friday, April 28, my wife, son, and I landed in the Philippines. The brethren were excited and could hardly believe that a CBCG elder was visiting. Rexar and Donnah picked us up at the airport and took us to lunch; we had very positive conversations about the CBCG. Later they picked us up for Sabbath dinner.
On Sabbath afternoon they took us to their new meeting place, which is beautiful—surrounded by nature with a fantastic view of the mountains. I met the brethren and they were all very excited to meet me. They had invited several guests from near and far. For the service, I spoke about the Sabbath, then had a Bible question and answer session. I could see that these are very dedicated people with good Bible knowledge; they just needed someone to fill in the details.
I covered the importance of keeping the Sabbath, Passover, and the Holy days; I covered tithing and the giving of offerings; we discussed faith, healing, fasting, the Ten Commandments, and church government. We looked at the differences between the CBCG and other churches of God. Afterwards, we had a nice potluck and tea break. Then I began a session on baptism. Most of them had been baptized in other churches, so I explained the details of true baptism. I counseled with about 10 people and anointed a few who were ill. I chose three who I felt were ready for baptism and had another counseling session for them the next day.
On the next day, Sunday, the brethren took us to visit the Mayon Volcano, which is a world-famous active volcano. We had a wonderful lunch and dinner with good fellowship. We spent the whole day with the brethren and got to know them better individually. We held more Bible discussions and counseling sessions. I was encouraged by their dedication, eagerness, and hunger for the truth. They showed great appreciation for Fred’s ministry and knowledge—and were so thankful that he had sent me to visit them. I told them that God was making this happen, using Fred’s ministry. I could sense that their faith was increased.
On Monday I baptized Rex Madrona, Iven May, and Risian Masbate—using the swimming pool beside their meeting hall. Afterwards we had a wonderful potluck, and later I held another baptism counseling session. One couple who has been attending church for over a year came to me for baptism and marriage counseling. They are planning to get married in July and want me to officiate their wedding—after being baptized. We had a very good counseling session.
A man who attended the weekend with us was a strong SDA member—actually the treasurer and choirmaster for his church. His parents are part of the CBCG group. He was convicted by some of the things I said and came to me for advice on leaving the SDA and joining his parents in the CBCG. He is a leader in his community and was naturally concerned about what the consequences might be. He ultimately came to the decision to follow the truth and leave the SDA. I will be counseling with him further on my next visit. His parents were in tears as they thanked me that their son was returning to them and to God. It was a very emotional moment and they praised God for how things turned out.
I had an organizational meeting with the seniors, Joy (the land owner), and Donnah (the meeting hall owner) about starting up an official CBCG congregation. I advised them on how to run the church and on collecting tithes and offering for the use of the congregation. I told them that more and more people would be joining them, and that it would be helpful if they officially identified as a part of the CBCG.
Most of them are doing well financially and they are good at helping each other. They didn’t ask for any assistance from me or from the church. But I personally have chosen two families that I will help in getting provisions and so on.
The next day Rexar (Rex Madrona) and Donnah took us to the airport; we arrived home the following day. I plan to return in July for the following reasons: 1. There are about 13 attendees who desire counseling for baptism; 2. Officiate the marriage of the couple mentioned earlier; 3. Meet the family of the man who decided to leave the SDA—for they are interested in learning about the church; and 4. Bring more books and booklets.
We had a very meaningful trip and I am happy that I was able to serve the brethren there who hunger and thirst for righteousness. They looked lost, but now they know God is with them. A special thank you to Fred for giving me the opportunity and for the prayers of the brethren. All praises go to God the Father and Jesus Christ.
