Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Sabbath services! What a week this has been! Everybody has been fixated on Ukraine. It's very interesting what is happening.
The Russians are finding that the Ukrainians are not surrendering, but fighting. They're fighting and holding the Russians back in many places. For most of the week, everyone was wondering why that major convoy of Russians coming down to the city of Kyiv was stalled. It's been stalled almost all week.
They just released the pictures that the Ukrainians were smart enough to blow up the main bridge of that highway so the Russians can't get across. Ukraine has been successful in knocking out a lot of tanks, kill a lot of Soviet soldiers, and they have killed over 600 infiltrators that were sent in by the Russians months and weeks in advance so that they could cause disruption in the Ukraine.
It looks like it's going to be a giant mess! The alarm that the nuclear power plant in Southern Ukraine was set afire, that turned out to be not true. What caught fire was about 1200 yards away and never affected the nuclear plant.
If it did, then it would be a whole different situation for Russia and the whole world. America and other countries have been sending a lot of arms for the Ukrainians and they are using them and resisting. We will see what happens with this.
If there's confusion thrown into the Russian ranks and their plans, then that's going to lead to the failure of the Russians. We'll just have to wait and see.
But one major thing has occurred because of the way that the Russians have conducted this affair. They expected all the Ukrainians to surrender and welcome them. Well, that was a major miscalculation!
What was the other major miscalculation? Something that will fulfill prophecy in a major way! Putin has succeeded with his war on Ukraine to put absolute fear into all of the Europeans, and now they're going to unify! Even the Swedes and the Finns are going to become part of NATO. That will be a major re-alignment of things, which will fulfill prophecy. The beast has to come out of the European alignment.
Up to this point, it didn't look like it was going to be quite that way. If the Russians succeeded—the way some people thought they may have—then it would be another story altogether! Putin wants to go down in history as the one who restored the Soviet Union. He also wants to get the Eastern European nations—Poland, Romania, Hungry, and some of the others—to come back into the Communist sphere of Russia.
We know that in order for Satan to get his plan across, he's got to deceive the whole world. We know that there is a 'great reset' that they're trying to bring upon the whole world:
- in economic terms
- in social terms
- in private property terms
Prime Minster Trudeau of Canada proved one very important point: You can't force the people with the power of government!
He even threatened to close all of the protestor's bank accounts and confiscate their money. That didn't go over so good, so right when he was ready to really put the clamps on, he dropped the emergency mandates.
We're going to see that that is a big lesson for the elite, and we will talk about the elite. What we're looking at in the world is:
Revelation 12:9: "And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent who is called the Devil and Satan, who is deceiving the whole world…"
There are still enough people who are not willing to be deceived. So, something else has to happen. We'll look at that in a little bit. The way this is going to come across is that the people will want it! How are they going to do that?
Revelation 13:1: "And I stood on the sand of the sea; and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea…"
What is sand and the sea? People and nations! Those for the 'great reset' have learned a big lesson in Canada. You can't do it with government force alone. Even the threat of economical force. They're going to have to have the cooperation of the people.
Where do we see this taking place now already with this Ukrainian thing? Ukrainians lining up by the thousands on the major roads leading into the Ukraine to stop the Russians from coming.

The Russians had to spend a lot of time dispersing the people. But the people are going to be involved and have to be involved with what's going to happen, in order for this final beast to come to the fore.
"…having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy" (v 1). The system that is against God!
I'll cover some of this later when I cover some reports on The World Economic Forum. That is a major force that is bringing all of the super-rich and the major corporations of the world and the bankers of the world together. They meet every year in Davos, Switzerland.
That's very interesting. What other city in Switzerland will become a major player in the final solution? By the way, Switzerland now wants to join all the rest of the European countries. Up to this point in history, Switzerland has always remained independent.
- What's the other major city in Switzerland? Geneva!
- What buildings are there that will add to this whole scenario? All the buildings built for the League of Nations are still there!
Those were deeded to the United Nations.
- Is the UN going to move to Geneva now that Europe is looking like it has the foundation to come together? All nations in Europe?
This is unheard of with Switzerland wanting to become part of it!
Verse 2: "And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and his feet like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne and great authority."
It has to be by the power of Satan the devil. Have you watch of all the movies and videos about the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and Hitler, and so forth? There comes a point when Satan comes and personally possesses the leader. That's what happened to Hitler. Look what happened!
Verse 3: "And I saw one of his heads as if it were slain to death…"—because "…the dragon gave him his power, and his throne and great authority."
Look at the system; the European system that Hitler was trying to put together. Germany was going to be the main leader of it. By the way, the German Parliament just voted to increase defense spending and to produce whatever weapons they need to be prepared to fight off the Russians.
They understand the Russians from this way: during Napoleon, Bismarck, WWI and WWII, Russia was invaded mainly by the German forces. The Ukraine fits into that quite a bit, too. During Hitler's time, when the German forces came into the Ukraine, the Ukrainians welcomed them, joined his army and came up against the Soviets, fighting against them. So, here we go with the Ukraine again, right smack in the middle of a big war.
Finally, the Russians were able to pushback the Germans and they came with vengeance, destruction and leveling everything in sight. Watch some of those videos that are on The American History Channel, and the conquering of Berlin by the Russians. They literally wasted it! And all the bombing that came from the Allies; they wasted Germany and brought it to its knees! One factory survived.
Sidebar: If you see the picture of what Hitler was trying to give the German people so that they would support him, one of them was the people's car, the Volkswagen.
They had a number of the prototype models built; had a lot of propaganda with movies so they could play them in the theaters and so forth. This is what Hitler promised them, a car in every garage.
He was building what we would call 'the freeways' today. That was to rapidly move the German forces to wherever they needed to go. So, guess what factory survived all the bombings, enough to where they could repair and start exporting.
What was one of the first exports that Germany was able to do to earn income to help build up their economy after the war? The Volkswagen! They sold them in America. I remember when they first came out, $2,300! People were buying them like crazy!
The deadly wound had to do with what happened to Germany and all of Europe. It was devastated!
Now, it says for the system the: "…deadly wound was healed…" (v 3).
Germany is the most prosperous and richest nation in Europe, and now they're dedicating their military inclinations to defenses.
If you've seen the movie The Valkyrie, it was about the Germans who had plotted to assassinate Hitler. It was quite extensive. There were a lot of top military men involved, and one of the men who took the bomb into the meeting where Hitler was going to be put it on the wrong side of a thick oak leg that went all the way across the width of the table. Hitler was on one side and they put the bomb on the other side.
The bomb went off and good number of them died, but Hitler survived. This was a little over a year before the final surrender of the Germans. But Germany, after the war to show how peaceful they wanted to be, had a special ceremony for the Valkyrie every year honoring those who sought to assassinate Hitler.
This was to show that they were peaceful. It makes you wonder what's going to happen in Germany.
"…and the whole earth was amazed and followed the beast" (v 3).
That's yet to come, so we don't know exactly what's going to happen in the two phases of the beast:
- the man who will be the leader
- all of Europe united together
That will be amazing when that takes place!
Verse 4: "And they worshiped the dragon…
That's the missing element in trying to bring the 'great reset'! They can't do it politically, they can't do it with a police state, because there's too much resistance; people will not go for it. They won't go for it even in the face of war, as you can see by how the Ukrainians are resisting the Russians.
So, there has to be the religious aspect that comes to play in bringing the whole Beast Power together.
"…And they worshiped the beast…" (v 4).
Did they worship Hitler? Yes, indeed! But the beast is going to be better than Hitler, stronger than Hitler.
"…saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?'" (v 4).
That means that you have to have armaments so that no one wants to make war against you. How is that going to happen?
You've heard of the cyclotron in Cern, Switzerland. Guess who most of the scientists are working on that cyclotron where they're trying to find the powerful invisible particles, so they say, to understand how the earth is made, plus other things.
So, it's a collider. It's one of the biggest projects in the world. Scientists have been working on it for decades. Could it be that these scientists will discover something that will be absolutely amazing? That will be potentially so powerful that no one wants to make war against the beast!
Verse 5: "And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to him; and authority was given to him to continue for forty-two months."
It starts out as seven years, or 84 months, and in the middle, that's when the deadly wound happens again to the man and he's revived and continues for 42 months. Let's see how powerful this is going to be:
Verse 6: "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. And he was given power to make war against the saints…" (vs 6-7).
This shows you something: the Church is going to have to be very active in preaching the Gospel. We don't know how that's going to happen, or how God is going make it possible. But He will!
"…and to overcome them; and he was given authority over every tribe and language and nation…[that's where it's going to come to] …and all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (vs 7-8).
Sidebar on the Messiah that the Jews are expecting: They are not expecting Christ to return as God from heaven, because they've rejected Him.
This man—the beast—will be thought of as a manifestation of God on the earth. The Jews will accept him until he goes into the temple to say that he is God! Is that when the deadly wound happens to the man and he's healed? We will see how he's healed in just a minute.
We don't know, but we know for sure that Jesus said that the Tribulation will not begin until the abomination of desolation—spoken of by Daniel the Prophet—stands in the Holy Place! That's the coming temple.
All of these things have to come together. These are all parts of what's going to be of the finale of the last seven years.
Verse 9: "If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone gathers into captivity, he shall go into captivity. If anyone kills with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints" (vs 9-10).
It talks about the saints twice, so we'll have to see how all of that works out. Here is the key right here:
Verse 11: "And I saw another beast rising out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon."
This is how the people of the earth will be brought into the system, through the religions of the world.
Verse 12: "And he exercises all the authority of the first beast before him…"
That's over the whole world. In order for the Beast System to work, you have to have th leader of the government, and you must have the leader of all religions. If you have like it is today, all the Catholics will be in it. Nearly all the Protestants will be in it. Nearly all the Orthodox will be in it, plus the Buddhists and the Islamists.
They will all be apart of it. Remember the messages that I've given about cooperating with the religions.

I'll read just a little bit. All of this has been going on since Woodrow Wilson and beginning with the Federal Reserve, and all of these things dovetail together. They're going to get together:
…to create a global organization based on an ecumenical spirit of unity, clearly the legacy of the original progressive clergy...
He lists all of the Christian progressive clergy. We're not aware of hardly any of this; this is quite a revelation. When did they begin?
American Society of International Law (1906), National Arbitration and Peace Conference (1907), the Methodist Federation for Social Action (1907), The Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America (1908), American Society for the Judicial Settlement of International Disputes (1910), World Alliance for International Friendship (1914)…
All of these are still ongoing organizations!
…The Church Peace Union (1914), American League to Limit Armaments (1914), American Union Against Militarism (1915), League to Enforce Peace (1915), Committee on Moral Aims of the War (1918), The International Missionary Council (1921), the Universal Conference on Life and Work (1925, 1930–1938), and The Faith and Order Movement (1927), among several others.
All of these organizations, plus—as I pointed out about with the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible—everything in the Bible has been re-oriented to the group, instead of individual salvation.
Many of these organizations were merely the out–workings of private foundations and their wealth, most especially the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Ford Foundation. Author Carl Teichrib describes the function of the many American Foundations that sprang up in the early twentieth century as…
How are we seeing this manifest today? Wokeism with the corporations!
…Change agents of yesterday and in the present understand that if culture is to shift in a permanent way, then social values must move gradually until a tipping point is reached….
Have we reached that? We're probably beyond it! Remember what happened when the Aids epidemic came out? You probably never heard of this: the leading homosexuals and their organizations got together and like all good evil people, they never waste a crisis! So, they figured out in conjunction with the media to have the people have sympathy for these poor homosexuals who got Aids.
That opened the door for people to begin practicing what was in a very famous book in the 1970s, which was I'm Okay, You're Okay! What did that philosophy do, which is rampant today?
- if you're a homosexual, that's okay
- if I'm religious, that's okay
- if you're an atheist, that's okay
We'll all get along together! Look at what we have in society in America today because of that very thing!
They tried in America with the 'woke' movement to begin to enforce some of these things that we've talked about for the whole change of system and redirection of the world. But there are still enough people around against them that the world leaders can see that their plan cannot be implemented now.
So, they're going to have to bring in the religion. What has happened in religion? You have homosexual churchesthat 'believe in Jesus'! Look at the morals. They were surprised when they had different groups get together.
Here in California they had the great 'smoke in.' what was that? A movement to legalize marijuana! All the people got together and all lit up their 'joints' and there was a great cloud of smoke and it was covered by the media and it put the politicians into a position that 'if we go against marijuana we won't stay in office.'
Now then, they've done the same thing with drugs. Look at what they're doing in San Francisco. They're carrying out the work of the Chinese who want to drug America! Read what they are doing. Look at the reports on fentanyl that comes into America. Fentanyl is deadly! There are more deaths because of drug overdoses! People are into all kinds of drugs.

- that takes away your responsibility
- that takes away your will to resist
That's all a part of it!
For this to occur, institutional hubs must first be altered within; government, the education system, media and popular culture…
The media is nothing but the psychological arm of this movement! What we're looking at in Europe right now is the major thing that is bringing all of Europe together. That is major! All of these other things have been taking place.
…religious organizations, and other key societal crossroads need to embrace the new worldview…The "top–down" change agents "reforming" our social and political institutions are not difficult to discover….
Now let's look at the aims of the 'great reset.'
Showing a picture of Klaus Schmidt, head of the World Economic Forum. He has many people working with him and under him. He is a Communist, called a Socialist. In Germany he is one of the most powerful men around. If you can look carefully at the picture you will see behind him a bust of Lenin! This is what is coming:

- Climate change is the bedrock. The use of the pandemic was just to begin the world experiment of ushering in a global institutional change. They didn't succeed, but that doesn't mean they're going to stop.
- Digital Passports: all seeing eye, building a global social presence barometer for each human, ultimately a rating system of how you will be controlled or punished if you do not adhere to the system.
This is exactly what the Chinese have! Look at all the major international corporations that are in on wanting the Chinese system because they want business in China.
- Access to your digital bank account to further cement control over your behavior. Modern Monetary Theory…
When this comes about, it's going to be something. The masses of people who demanded this and wanted it come it, and accepted it, are going to have the mark of the beast come.
…Defiance of all same rules to maintain balance between income and spending with ultimately useless fiat money.
- You own nothing! Everybody rents from the state.
Then they want to move to vegetarianism if possible, and everything is going to be based on the ESG—Environmental and Social Governance.
This is why the religions of the world have to be in on this. So, when we see something big, like is happening in the Ukraine, there are greater goals out beyond that are going to take place; a switch of bringing Europe together. Happen overnight, and you couldn't have done it without the Ukraine War.
Let's see what happens with the papacy and the religions of the world.
Revelation 13:12: "And he exercises all the authority of the first beast before him…"
They go together! Won't that be spectacular? The pope and the world ruler together!
"…and he causes the earth and those who dwell therein to worship the first beast…" (v 12)—and be obedient to him!
They will help the people put down all resistance and fighting against this world's system; the great reset!
"…whose deadly wound was healed. And he performs great wonders…" (vs 12-13).
Think about that! This is going to be all-inspiring! Everybody is going to see it. Just like we have today, you can see what's going on in the Ukraine and hear people talking who are living through it explaining what is happening in the middle of this war.
"…so that he even causes fire to come down to the earth from heaven in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by means of the wonders that were given to him to perform in the sight of the beast, saying to those who dwell on the earth that they should make an image for the beast, which had the wound by the sword, yet, was alive" (vs 13-14).
That's part of the whole idolatry system! He will be declared as Christ in the flesh! Why is that necessary? Because when Christ does come, all the nations of the earth are going to be deceived into thinking that this is an invasion from outer space! We must all get together and save the earth. The leading nations behind that are going to be China and the nations of the East and all the rest of the nations together to come and fight against Christ.
Here we are right on the threshold, right on the cusp of seeing these things all come together. This is the main thing that has occurred. Putin has united Europe and he doesn't even understand what he has done!

Q—Would you please explain 1-Peter 2:11-17?
This is a good example that when you read something one place, you need to also get other Scriptures from another place to give you an understanding of it that is complete.
1-Peter 2:11: "Beloved, I exhort you, as strangers and sojourners…'
That's what we are; we belong to God! We have been transferred to the authority of the Kingdom of God in heaven above through the Holy Spirit by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
"…to restrain yourselves from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul" (v 11).
That's simple. Overcome all of the interior lusts that are in your mind. Remember that today we have many things working against our mind almost everywhere you go. So, it's a big job and that's why you need to be continuously up on Bible study and prayer so you can overcome.
Verse 12: "Having your way of life honest among the Gentiles so that although they speak against you as evildoers…"
That certainly happened back then in those terrifically pagan societies. It will come against us here in this age, as well.
"…through having witnessed your good works, they may glorify God in the day of visitation" (v 12). That will be the second resurrection!
Verse 13: "Therefore, submit yourselves to every human institution for the Lord's sake; whether to the king, as supreme, or to governors, as sent by him to execute vengeance against evildoers, and to praise those who do well" (vs 13-14). That's self-explanatory!
But what are we to do when they infringe upon our faith?
Verse 15: "For so is the will of God, that by doing well yourselves, you may put to silence theignorance of senseless men."
In other words, people will be educated by how you live your life and behave yourself. That's why being led by the Holy Spirit is the most important thing that we need to be doing.
Verse 16: "As free, and not using your freedom as a cover for evil…"
That's the way the world does. Look at all of these charities that they have, look what happened with Black Lives Matter: they got $91-million and it's gone! Look at all the churches that have done that! Look at all the other organizations. In other words, you have to be genuine and honest all the way through.
"…but as bondslaves of God. Show honor to everyone. Love the brotherhood, revere God and honor the king. Servants, submit yourselves to your masters with all fear" (vs 16-18).
They had servants! Well, you have a lot of them today. They're all electrical appliances and things like automobiles.
What happens when they come against you and are resisting you and resisting the faith, causing you not be able to do what your need to do?
Acts 5—here is where the apostles were put in prison overnight, and an angel let them all out and told them to go preach at the temple early. When the captain went to bring them in he couldn't find them because they weren't there. Then someone came and said that they're out speaking in the temple area. So, they arrested them and brought them into the Sanhedrin, which was the governing body of the Jewish community.
Acts 5:27: "And they brought them in… [all the apostles] …and set them before the Sanhedrin. And the high priest asked them, saying, 'Did we not order you by a direct command not to teach in this name?…. [it was grievous and punishable if you didn't obey the Sanhedrin] …And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, with the purpose of bringing this man's blood upon us" (vs 27-28).
That's not true! They brought it upon themselves! What did they say when Pilate said, 'I don't see any evil in this man, He's innocent'? They said, 'We have one king.' Jesus had said that He was King of the Jews. 'And that king is Caesar.' It should have been God! But it wasn't! what else did they say?
Pilate said, 'What do you want me to do? Release this man or Barabbas?' They said, 'Release Barabbas and this man crucify Him! Pilate said, 'I wash my hands, I'm innocent of blood.' They said, 'Let His blood be on us and on our children.'
That has been upon the Jews until this day! Judgment by the religious leaders who killed Christ! They brought it upon themselves by asking for it.
Verse 29: "But Peter and the apostles answered and said, 'We are obligated to obey God rather than men.'"
Regardless of what the circumstances are, regardless of what the threats are, we're obligated to obey God! So, you have to balance 1-Peter 2 with what was said in Acts 5.
Q—Jeremiah 49:38: "'I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy the king and the princes from there,' says the LORD."
Yes, it will probably happen at the return of Jesus Christ!
Q—Isaiah 17:1: "The burden against Damascus: 'Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a heap of ruins."
Parts of that has happened over and over again. The latest time that happened was when the Russians were in Syria and that's what they did with part of Damascus. So, we'll have to wait and see how that goes.
Q—Second resurrection—I'm not clear as to where the Scriptures are concerning those who never had the chance to hear the Gospel.
Understand that the second resurrection is not a second chance. Why? Because we are all blinded by Satan the devil and this society. So, when God begins to call us, He starts taking away the blindness. When we receive the Holy Spirit and are baptized, something happens in our mind. That's called the circumcision of the heart (Col. 2).
2-Corinthians 3:13: "For we are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face, so that the children of Israel could not gaze to the end upon the glory that is now being set aside…. [here's why there's a 2nd resurrection] …But their minds were blinded; for to the present hour the same veil has not been removed, but remains at the reading of the Old Covenant… [Old Testament. When you're converted and baptized, what happens?] …which veil is removed in Christ. For to this day, when Moses is read, the veil lies upon their hearts. But when their hearts turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away" (vs 13-16).
What if they live and die and the veil is never taken away? They never had an opportunity! Since God is not a respecter of persons, He's going to give all of those who have lived and died an opportunity for salvation. We find this in three places.
Rev. 20 is one of those places in the Bible that's a very key thing.
Revelation 20:4: "And I saw thrones; and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given to them…"
That's all of those who were in the first resurrection. Think about this: if there's a first resurrection, that means there's got to be more and one! If it was the resurrection, then they would all be lost.
"…and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and those who did not worship the beast or his image, and did not receive the mark in their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years" (v 4). Listen! All of these were resurrected! Tie in:
- 1-Cor. 15, which says Christ the Firstfruit and after that those who are Christ's at His coming
- 1-Thess. 4:16
Verse 5: "(But the rest of the dead…)" Who are all the rest of the dead that are called in light of v 4? Everyone who never had the Spirit of God!
"…did not live again…" (v 5). If you live again it is a resurrection!
"…until the thousand years were completed.) This is the first resurrection…. [everything in v 4] …Blessed and Holy is the one who has part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power…." (vs 5-6).
Those are the rest of the dead who live again. The second death has power over them, meaning they can die again. They will be given an opportunity for salvation.
"…But they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years" (v 6).
Matt. 12—here we find a very interesting section of Scripture.
Matthew 12:30: "The one who is not with Me is against Me, and the one who does not gather with Me scatters."
So, there's a dividing line that God has given. That is those who are called now have been given the Holy Spirit, having the circumcision of the heart, so that they can understand the Word of God and having the veil of blindness that is there on everyone who does not come to God in their first life.
Verse 31: "Because of this, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men except the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit; that shall not be forgiven to men."
Why the Holy Spirit? Because the Holy Spirit comes directly from God the Father! That means that you have rejected God, Who gave you the Holy Spirit. That's the unpardonable sin! It doesn't make the Holy Spirit a person. But if you receive the Holy Spirit and reject the Holy Spirit, that's what it's talking about!
Verse 32: "And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit… [directly to God the Father] …it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the coming age."
What is that coming age? The Kingdom of God and add on a thousand years!
Verse 41: " The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation…"
How do you stand up? You are resurrected! That's what that means! Now they were separated by about a thousand years. So, when it says in Rev. 20 that 'the rest of the dead live not again until the thousand years are completed' that means they didn't commit the unpardonable sin, and they haven't had an opportunity for salvation!
God left them in their blindness and they lived and died in their blindness. It doesn't matter what age they were when they died.
"…and shall condemn it, because they repented at the proclamation of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here" (v 41).
This shows their repentance in the book of Jonah was not unto salvation. It was unto forgiveness of sin so that the judgment of God would be lifted from them.
Verse 42: "The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it…"
Again, the queen of the south was during the days of Solomon; different timeframes.
Ezek. 37 explains about Israel, who were never called to salvation. This is called the Valley of Dry Bones! This was a special vision by God to Ezekiel to show what God was going to do with Israel.
Remember the phrase that we read: if you commit the unpardonable sin it shall not be forgiven in this age, nor in the coming age!
- What if, even though you're blinded, you do not commit the unpardonable sin?
- Who blinded them? God did!
So, if He doesn't give them an opportunity for salvation, then God is a respecter of persons; and He's not a respecter of persons.
Ezekiel 37:1: "The hand of the LORD was on me, and brought me by the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones."
What does that tell you if you see bones? Somebody or some thing died!
Verse 2: "And He made me walk among them all around. And behold, very many were in the open valley. And lo, they were very dry…. [showing that they have been dead for a long time] …And He said to me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' And I answered, 'O Lord GOD, You know'" (vs 2-3).
That's a tough question! Here you are and you're looking at all of those bones. I think about that every time I see one of these geological digs and they come across a human skeleton or something. I think about here are the bones, but the spirit has set aside and is going to use in the resurrection.
Verse 4: "Again He said to me, 'Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, "O dry bones, hear the Word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you…" (vs 4-6)—listen to what's being said:
- breath for human life
- sinew
- bones
- flesh
- skin
"…and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am the LORD'"'" (v 6).
This tells you that the blindness will be lifted! Even though they were the children of Israel, did they know the Lord unto salvation? No! That's what most people in the Protestant and Catholic religions believe, that they had salvation through law in the Old Testament. That's not true!
Verse 7: "So, I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And behold, a shaking! And the bones came together, a bone to its bone. And as I watched, behold the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them above. But there was no breath in them" (vs 7-8).
Just like Adam after he was created, God had to breathe the breath of life in him!
Verse 9: "And He said to me, 'Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain that they may live.'…. [so He did it] …So, I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army" (vs 9-10).
Notice v 11; this answers the question: How many people will there be in that resurrection at the end of the thousand years. Well, Rev. 20 says that so many that there's hardly room left for them to stand. Think about it! All the people who have lived and died through all the nations and empires and countries down through history.
Verse 11: "And He said to me, 'Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel….'"
He never gave the Holy Spirit to them! They were blinded! But they did not commit the unpardonable sin. Some of them may have, but they're not in this resurrection. That's after the Great White Throne Judgment, which we know from Isa. 65 will be 100 years.
"'…Behold, they say, "Our bones are dried and our hope is lost; we ourselves are completely cut off"…. [God gives the answer]: Therefore, prophesy and say to them, "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, O My people, I will open your graves… [that tells us that we're dead and buried] …and cause you to come up out of your graves, and will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the LORD when I have opened your graves, O My people, and have brought you up out of your graves" (vs 11-13).
Notice the purpose. What's the purpose of the second resurrection; right here in v 14. As we saw in Matt. 12, it's for Gentile nations, as well!
Verse 14: "'And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. And you shall know that I the LORD have spoken it and have done it,' says the LORD."
So, they will know! They will have an opportunity for salvation. Those are major Scriptures. That's why whenever you have the Protestants that say 'everything in the Old Testament has been fulfilled'….
- Have you ever seen anything in history that Ezek. 37 was fulfilled?
- Have you seen anything in history like in Zech. 14 that God comes and stands on the Mt. of Olives with all the saints?
- No, it hasn't been fulfilled!
Much of the Old Testament is prophecy for the future. A lot of things have happened, and a lot of things have been fulfilled, but this has not. That's quite a thing!

Q—Why will John the Baptist be least in the Kingdom of Heaven?
That's not what it says! It says, 'Even one of these little ones who is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John the Baptist.' But John the Baptist's role is going to be greater above that.
I asked this because John was in prison and he sent messengers to ask these things.
John wanted to doubly make sure that Jesus was the Messiah. The One Whom he said was coming. John wasn't able to associate with Him. John had his mission and he didn't know Jesus until Jesus came and was baptized.
Then Jesus went on His way with His ministry and John the Baptist stayed for a while baptizing, then was arrested and put in prison so he sent the two disciples to find out if this what really the One. They probably went back and told John that, 'Yes, He's the One' because Jesus said, 'You go back and tell John:
the Gospel is preached to the poor, people are healed, the dead are raised, the blind see, the crippled walk
Then John the Baptist's head was cut off. What a thing that was! I am sure that John the Baptist, when he started his ministry, had no idea on how it was going to end.
The questioner says, 'It seems that John may have been looking for Christ to fulfill all prophecies concerning Him at that time rather than at His return in the future. Could be, we don't know!
Could it be that Christ's parable among the seed on the rock could be concerning John's faith in Christ?
No! That was totally different.
It seemed that John lost faith in prison.
No, he didn't lose faith! He just needed to know what was going on! Here he was in prison and needed to know. He figured he was going to die pretty quick.
Q—I'd like to know why CBCG is so anti-medicine and doctors.
Well, we're not the only ones. Look at how many people in the world today are against them.
We trust in God to heal us! There are times that we need physicians. But like I've said, we've got to take care of ourselves. You can't think that just because you quit eating unclean meats that now you're never going to be sick. No! You have to study about food, study about the various things that you can take, such as supplements and vitamins, which are concentrated foods.
How many mistakes have been made by doctors? Mistakes in giving medicine? So, there's a good use of doctors, but you don't flip out and go and rely on the doctors for everything.
You have to take care of yourself! So, I hope that helps you.
Q—What is the Mystery of God?
How God calls and converts people; that's part of it. The mystery of God is the message of God in the Word of God that He opens our mind to understand. So, the mystery of God is right in the Scriptures.
When you're studying the Scriptures, you're loving and obeying God, all of a sudden you learn something from the Scriptures. That comes from God! That's a mystery how He does it!
The ultimate mystery is, as Paul writes in Eph. 3, and this is the goal.
- What are we doing with our lives?
- Where are we going?
- Why do we go through what we go through?
Ephesians 3:14: "For this cause… [the cause of the mystery, Paul explains what it is] …I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of Whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man" (vs 14-16). That's part of the mystery of God!
- How does the Holy Spirit work in your life?
- How does the Holy Spirit lead us?
- How does the Holy Spirit help us in understanding the Word of God so that God can teach us from His very words?
Verse 17: "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith." He is there:
- to lead us
- to guide us
The world doesn't know it! They don't have a clue!
Verse 18: "And that being rooted and grounded in love, you may be fully able to comprehend with all the saints… [we grow in this knowledge and understanding; we don't come to it all at once] …what is the breadth and length and depth and height."
How great is the plan of God? Take a good gander of some of the most beautiful pictures of the universe from Hubble and James Webb space telescopes! Look at the beauty and grander that God has put in the universe. That's showing you the future of His plan for all of those who will enter into the Kingdom of God. That's another part of the mystery! "…what is the breadth and length and depth and height."
Verse 19: "And to know the love of Christ…"
To understand what Jesus did to take upon Himself all the sins of the world so that He can offer forgiveness and sacrifice to those whom God the Father calls.
"…which surpasses human knowledge… [it's a tremendous thing what Christ did] …so that you…" (v 19).
Here is the fullness of the mystery of God. It doesn't come all at once. That's why we grow in grace and knowledge and understanding.
"…so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (v 19). That's the mystery: to become like God!
It's a vast thing to understand. I'm sure that after the resurrection we're going to learn that we knew, in this physical life, just a wee, little, bitty bit of what God wants us to know. That's going to be something!
