Phase One Leading to the Last Pentecost!
Look for key events to take place for the return of Christ

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Pentecost 2018. As we will see, this is a great and fantastic Feast for the Church. It has great meaning for us, and in particularly for the first resurrection.
Jesus said that in the end-time there would be many, many false prophets arising and trying to deceive even the elect. At the return of Jesus Christ it will still be happening.
I'm going to suggest that you request our thick Transcript Book on Daniel/Revelation and the book, The Appointed Times of Jesus the Messiah. The reason of that is that there is so much material that kaleidoscopes from the prophecies of the Old Testament and New Testament to come down to that one point when Jesus actually returns to the earth. We will see it doesn't happen all at once.
Here's a man—David Meade—who said three or four times in the past, but it hasn't happened. If you repeat a lie long enough, will it make it true? No way! So, 'here it is April 23, the earth is going to be destroyed!' It comes from a Protestant and you can understand this. Protestants know virtually nothing about the Truth of the prophecies of the Bible.
Because of the things that have happened in the past, and in the book of Daniel they're able to understand those things. But they don't understand it when it comes into the New Testament. They don't understand when these things are going to take place.
Where do we begin with the Truth? Without the Truth, nothing matters! It has to be:
- the Truth of God
- the Truth of His Word
- true interpretation by rightly dividing the Word of God—line upon line, here a little, there a little—Old Testament and New Testament
- that which has been fulfilled already
- that which is to be fulfilled in the future
- that which tells us of how things are going to be so discombobulated that no one is going to know the day or the hour of the return of Christ except God the Father
This tells you that false prophets cannot know a single thing. There was another false prophet—Harold Camping—who two times several years ago prophesied the end of the earth on May 22 and October 22, and it never happened, and he died!
I wonder what he's going to say when he's resurrected. 'Oh, Lord, Lord, I predicted that You would come on May 22, but I had to change that because You didn't come. You were supposed to come on October 22. When did You really come?'
He's going to say, 'At God's appointed time,' not the imagination of any man who professes himself to be a prophet or professes to understand the Word of God and does not keep the commandments of God!
Be sure and get the sermon series: Daniel/Revelation and the book: The Appointed Times of Jesus the Messiah.
Dan. 9 tells us about Jesus' first coming and one of the events that preview His second coming. Then we will look at a war strategy in Dan. 11 so we can know when some of these things are going to be.
The Bible prophesies things by events, not dates! The Holy Days are different because the Holy Days are what God uses to carry out His will. Those do not happen according to the Roman calendar on any fixed date that they can look to—impossible!
I'm going to assign several other things as we go along so you can fill out the picture yourself, rather than try and jam everything into one sermon. We also have the book: God's Plan for Mankind Revealed by His Sabbath and Holy Days. There we have a great deal concerning the Feast of Pentecost. We know that's important in God's dealing with His people, in Christ coming to Mount Sinai, and in His coming back to the earth, as well as giving the Holy Spirit, that we covered yesterday (Acts 3).
After a great prayer of repentance, the angel Gabriel came to Daniel; Daniel 9:21: "Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel… [the angel] …whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, came to me, about the time of the evening sacrifice. And he made me to understand, and talked with me, and said, 'O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight and understanding. At the beginning of your supplications the word went forth…" (vs 21-23).
God plans on answering things, but probably a great deal of time before He does. That's why we are to continually repeat, continually to beseech God. Like the widow (Luke 11).
"…and I have come to declare it, for you are greatly beloved; therefore, consider the word, and understand the vision: Seventy weeks are decreed upon your people and upon your Holy city to finish the transgression and to make an end of sin, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy" (vs 23-24). That talks about things that come down:
- to the return of Christ
- to after the return of Christ
- to after the Millennium
- to after the Great White Throne Judgment
All of those things fit in with all the people, one way or another, who have been born in this world. Or through untimely deaths, regardless of whether it's abortion or war or accident, whatever. They'll be in the second resurrection. You cannot have everlasting righteousness until the wicked are burned up and Satan is removed. So, this covers a great span of time.
Verse 25: "Know, therefore, and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks…"
You get the book: The Appointed Times of Jesus the Messiah; that will explain it. It happened exactly as it has been said.
"…It shall be built again with streets and the wall, even in troublous times. And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off but not for Himself. And the people of the prince who shall come… [this is the antichrist, not Jesus] …shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. But his end shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm a covenant with many… [the Jews] …for one week…" (vs 25-27). One week is seven years. This is a heptad in the Hebrew, meaning seven years.
"…And in the midst of the week… [three and a half days or three and a half years] …he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease…" (v 27). That has nothing to do with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Even after He died, the sacrifices continued for 40-years. He's going to cause the sacrifices to cease, that is the antichrist who goes into the temple of God (2-Thess. 2), and the Jews preparing to build it now and are making progress in knowing where to build it. The reason that the Jews are still blinded is because if they knew where to build the temple, they would have built it long ago. It cannot be built until the time it's ready. They will have sacrifices.
The antichrist will come in and cut off those sacrifices (2-Thes. 2) and go into the temple of God and proclaim himself to be God and greater than any human being, greater than any God on earth, greater than any idol or statue or anything connected with a god. He is going to fight against Christ. Christ is going to destroy him and the false prophet with him. Many of those prophecies we have covered in the past.
"…and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate even until the consummation.… [the end of the age] …And the fully determined end which is decreed shall be poured out upon the desolator" (v 27). That is the destruction of the temple that the Jews will build.
That is a perfect example, along with these false prophets, of men trying to do something for God to make themselves important to God. Listen! What does God say is important to Him?
- What you do?
- How many sacrifices you give?
- What is important to God?
- Does He care who you are?
- Does He care what you are
- Does He care what your title may be
- Does He care what men think of you and proclaim you to be?
The One Who is going to save the world was the One Who said that He deserved to die. He was the only righteous man ever on earth! So, here's what God says, especially to those who are going to build the temple, and they're right in the midst of it.
I saw a show recently where they were down underground where the Spring of Gihon comes and there was more water in the Spring of Gihon than I have ever seen. I think that's another key that we need to watch. The more water, the more likely they know that straight up from where the water is, is where the sacrifices will be offered.
God will open their minds and they will build the temple. We'll talk about how it's possible they're going to build a temple. But let's first understand that no man can tell God what to do, no man can do something for God to impress Him so much that God is now obligated to a man to do something.
Isaiah 66:1: "Thus says the LORD, 'The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where then is the house that you build for Me? And where is the place of My rest? For all these things My hand has made, and these things came to be,' says the LORD…." (vs 1-2). Everything there is in the universe and the world came into being because of God.
No man is going to come up to God and say, 'God, look how great I am.' Remember what happened to Job? He said, 'Oh, I wish God would come and talk with me and I would show Him how righteous I am.' So, God came and talked to him and He said, 'Who is this that answers without knowledge?' Job said, 'I put my hand on my mouth.'
God said, 'If you can cast your rage abroad, like God, and if you have a voice like God, and if you can conquer the wicked and put them under your feet… [I'm adding a little in there as a paraphrase] …and if you can deck yourself with glory, honor and majesty, then you can say you are righteous.' Job repented! Right here, everything there is, God made.
- What are you going to do for Him?
- What's the most important thing to God?
- numbers of money or people?
- buildings and lands? No!
Verse 2: "...'But to this one I will look, to him who is of a poor and contrite spirit and who trembles at My Word'" (v 2).
If you don't do it, and if you're like some of these false prophets who come along and say, 'The end of the world's going to come April 23,' and it isn't going to happen, or if he has an offering.
Verse 3: "He who kills an ox is as if he killed a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is as if he broke a dog's neck; he who offers a grain offering is as if he offered swine's blood; he who burns incense is as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and I will bring their fears upon them because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they did not hear. But they did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight" (vs 3-4). They're going to bring it all on themselves! It isn't going to happen!
This is going to be quite a thing seeing all the events that take place. Remember the seven churches picture the seven weeks of harvest. The 50th day pictures Pentecost (Rev. 4; 5).
- Who was the One Who was chosen by God to open the seven seals? God!
- Who was the One Who was chosen? Jesus Christ!
Therefore, unless we look to the Truth of what Jesus has said and taught, we're not going to understand these prophecies. Even if we understand them to a certain point, we do not know every finite detail. God reserves a lot of things to Himself that He just doesn't tell us anything about! We'll see if we can put the Scriptures together to understand what is happening and how these things are coming down.
We know in Rev. 5 Jesus Christ is pictured by the Lamb slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, that only He could open the seven seals. There are seals in the front and seals in the back, because it is a scroll. They open certain things that are going to take place. These are earth-wide events. No man is going to open it.
There was a man who said, 'Me and my wife are the two witnesses.' He got caught for buying expensive clothes and putting money in Swiss banks. I don't know if he's out of jail, yet. There are still people who follow him. I truly hope he has repented, but sometimes you don't know what it will take to bring a person to repentance.
The only One worthy to open it was Jesus Christ. That means we have to look to key events as based upon what we find here with the opening of the seven seals.
Revelation 6:1: "And I looked when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures say, like the sound of thunder, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a white horse; and the one who was sitting on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering, and to conquer" (vs 1-2).
- How can you conquer with a bow but no arrows, sitting on a white horse?
- What does Jesus Christ return on (Rev.19)? A white horse!
Since Jesus is the One Who opened the seal, this is not Jesus Christ on this horse, though there are denominations who believe that. White pictures the false world religion, with the one leader to lead it. It looks at this point it will be the pope at Rome. That's fitting, because Catholicism is nothing but the Babylonian mysteries, with a few names of the Bible attached to it. We saw what that pictured back in Rev. 17. She's riding the beast, so she is in control, she comes first.
In the midst of all of this, there appears there will be a peace, because 1-Thes. 5 says when they say, 'peace and safety, or peace and security, or peace and prosperity, know that destruction is at hand.' This is what's going to fool the world. There will be false prophets along with the pope, performing miracles; the pope calling fire down from heaven.
When you look at it and see it and believe it, then you say, 'This has got to be true.' That's what all the people are going to do. They're going to say, 'Finally, after all of this time, all of mankind is going to get together. We've been trying to do this for thousands of years and now look, it looks like it's going to be done.'
Then we find in Dan. 11 that something will happen to change the whole equation. Those things that change the whole equation always occur in the Holy Land. Think about the greatest events that the Bible talks about.
- Where have they been centered? In the Holy Land!
- Where is Christ coming back to? The Holy Land!
Let's add something else here, because we need to talk about the last seven years. Three and a half years will be for peace and prosperity. Then the Tribulation takes over. What is the thing that causes the peace to end? Dan. 11 tells us about it. It's at the time of the end:
Daniel 11:40: "And at the time of the end, the King of the South shall push at him.…" Always coming out of the Muslim area, without a doubt.
"…And the King of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries and shall overflow and sweep through" (v 40).
What is he going to do when he enters into the Holy Land? He's going to fulfill the prophecy of Dan. 9. The first thing he's going to do, is when he gets into the Holy Land—because he is viewed as 'god on earth' (Rev.13), the whole world is worshiping him except those whose names are written in the book of life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. All will be deceived and think that this is true!
He will break the truce and he will enter into Jerusalem, go into the temple, and say, 'I am God.' That is when the Great Tribulation begins! Let's see when the Great Tribulation begins; war and red depict strife and killing.
Revelation 6:3: "And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, 'Come and see.' And another horse went out that was red; and power was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth… [How can he take peace from the earth if there's not peace on the earth?] … and to cause them to kill one another; and a great sword was given to him" (vs 3-4)—great military power!
He's going to kill all the men, all the women, a fourth part of the earth. What part that is we don't know.
- think of the casualties that are going to take place
- think of all the deaths and the flowing of blood
- think of all the strife within the cities coming apart
Next time you watch the news and see what's happening in Syria, know that's what's going to happen in America and Britain. It's coming!
Sidebar on the beast out of Europe: The Hungarians voted to put in a new premier who has a better than two-thirds majority in the Parliament, and his mandate is to get rid of all the immigrants and send them back to the Middle East. Likewise it'll happen in Germany, Holland, France and Spain. They'll all go back before the second seal is opened. That's how they're going to bring peace. What happens when you have war? Think about it in the cities.
- How much water do you have?
- Two days, five days, ten days, a month, two months, six months?
- How much food do you have?
- How can you get along without water?
- How can you get along without your electronics?
- What is it going to be like?
Look at those poor civilians there in Syria and what they're going through. That's what it will be like on a fourth of the earth. That is only a foretaste of what's going to happen. When it says a fourth part of the earth, it means the fourth part of the earth.
Verse 5: "And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a black horse; and the one sitting on it had a balance in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, 'A measure of wheat for a silver coin, and three measures of barley for a silver coin: and see that you do not damage the oil and the wine." (vs 5-6)—because precious that will be!
Think how quickly that will disintegrate. That's going to be something! Then after that takes place and there is this great confusion going on because of the war, then the fourth seal is opened. It always follows this way. Whenever there's war, lack of everything, people die, just like lemmings. That's what's going to happen here.
Verse 7: "And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a pale horse; and the name of the one sitting on it was Death, and the grave followed him; and authority was given to them over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and with famine and with death, and by the beasts of the earth" (vs 7-8).
They're all going to looking for scapegoats. Those of us who are the true Christians, who did not go to a place of safety—that's another one you can write in for, The Rapture Hoax. Millions and millions of people believe how many lies?
I challenge everyone out there. If you're hearing this and you think I'm some kind of nut, I want you to get your Bible. I want you to open it up and ask yourself: how many lies do I believe. We'll start with two:
- Sunday
- holidays
Those are satanic! Those are not of God! They can't be made righteous!
- Do you keep those?
- Do you lie to your children?
- Do your pastors and priests and religious leaders lie to you?
- Who are you going to blame when it comes?
Go look in the mirror and you'll see who it is!
Then they come after the Christians. We're the ones who caused this. We're the ones who are the guilty ones.
Verse 9: "And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony that they held; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, 'How long, O Lord, Holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?' (vs 9-10).
This is in vision to show what's going to happen. This is why we need to really set our heart and mind to be faithful and loyal to the end, in spite of everything that comes along. We do not know whether we're going to be martyred or not. When it starts, we can't stop it.
Verse 11: "And white robes were given to each of them; and they were told that they should rest a short time, yet, until it be fulfilled that both their fellow servants and their brethren also would be killed, just as they had been."
After that they try that purge, get rid of all of those who really believe in the Bible. The only ones alive in the flesh at that time will be those in a place of safety, the few that are there.
I can just tell you this. All of those evangelists and leaders in the Churches of God, you better repent of your vanity, because you aren't going to go there. You're not going to rule over the brethren in harshness and evil and wretchedness in the way that you have in the congregations that you are responsible for. Be prepared!
Verse 12 is a complete change. This is going to come from heaven. It's going to be powerful, and it's going to be a witness to the whole world.
Verse 12: "And when He opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as the hair of sackcloth, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind…. [here's the change]: …Then the heaven departed like a scroll that is being rolled up…" (vs 12-14).
What is that going to be like? God the Father and Jesus Christ are going to show their power and the greatness of what They are doing when this comes. As we will see, this is the first part of Christ's return to the earth, which we could call phase one.
"…and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the powerful men, and every bondman, and every free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, 'Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb… [they know what is coming, but they refuse to repent] …because the great day of His wrath has come, and who has the power to stand?'" (vs 14-17).
- Can anyone stand against God?
- Can anyone raise their hand and say, 'God, I'm stopping what You're doing. I don't like what You're doing'?
- How long do you think that that person would be alive?
What is this event? Jesus actually talks about this in Matt. 24 as one of the signs of His coming. Stop and think about this for a minute. The heavens roll back as a scroll. Everyone is going to see the heavens differently than they have before.
Matthew 24:24: "For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall present great signs and wonders, in order to deceive, if possible, even the elect."
That's why you have to know it is the Truth, not whether a miracle happens or not. That's not the test. The Truth, because Satan can do miracles.
In the day of judgment they're going to come up and tell Jesus, 'We did this. We did that; we did the other thing.' He says, 'I never knew you. Depart from Me you who work lawlessness.' That is into the Lake of Fire.
Verse 26: "Therefore, if they say to you, 'Come and see! He is in the wilderness"; do not go forth. "Come and see! He is in the secret chambers'; do not believe it. For as the light of day, which comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be" (vs 26-27).
That's very clear. This takes place after the heavens are rolled back as a scroll (Rev. 6). This is going to be an astonishing event. This is going to be something that the world is going to fight against and they won't understand it. It's going to be something, indeed. This is called the sign of the Son of man.
Verse 27 is an introductory verse. The details of this are explained later. The Bible does this in many things and in many different ways in bringing out the important parts of the Bible so that everything flows from there.
Verse 29: "But immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken" Isn't that what we saw with the opening of the sixth seal? Yes!
Verse 30: "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
Verse 27: "For as the light of day, which comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be."
What's going to happen when the heavens are rolled back like a scroll? They're going to see a second sun that is going to astonish them.
It's interesting that this false prophet comes up with a planet that's going to destroy the earth. He doesn't even know what he's talking about.
Christ is going to show Who He is and what He is and that He is God! He's not going to put up with any of this nonsense any longer. He is returning! The power of the heavens being rolled back, and that great shining star that shines from the east to the west. It will be that way for a whole year. How do we know?
(go to the next track)
We'll review the last part we went through in Rev. 6. Let's see what happens with the sixth seal when it is opened.
Revelation 6:12: "And when He opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as the hair of sackcloth, and the moon became as blood." Isn't that what we're told for the Day of the Lord that's going to happen? Yes!
Verse 13: "the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.… [that's the power of God] …Then the heaven departed like a scroll…" (vs 13-14).
I want you to think what a fantastic and great and huge event that this is. The greatest event in the history of the world since creation.
Verse 15: "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the powerful men, and every bondman, and every free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains."
Everything's going to be turned upside down with this earthquake and the power that happens when the heavens are rolled back as a scroll.
Verse 16: "And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, 'Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.'"
There will be from the two witnesses this knowledge going out that this is going to happen. When it does happen, they will know it's from God! However, that's not going to lead them to conversion. That's not going to lead them away from the influence and power of Satan the devil. Let's see what happens.
Verse 17: "Because the great day of His wrath has come, and who has the power to stand?" A day equals a year.
What we're going to do is we're going to see that is absolutely true. We are going to see that this has to happen on the Feast of Pentecost. And these who are saved, the 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude, are those who are saved because of a special work that is being done, satellites being positioned around the world for audio, visual and reading of the Bible. There are nations on earth that have never heard about God. Some of them are going to be converted. This is going to be awesome. Because what's going to happen, there will be a great calm.
Revelation 7:1: "And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that the wind might not blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to damage the earth and the sea, saying, 'Do not damage the earth, or the sea, or the trees until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.'" (vs 1-3).
They are converted at the very last hour. These are the ones who are described in Matt. 20 as the workers who worked from the eleventh to the twelfth hour. They will receive eternal life like all of those down through history who spent a lot of times doing the things they had to do.
Verse 4: "And I heard the number of those who were sealed: one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel."
Verse 9: "After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number, out of every nation and tribe and people and language, was standing before the throne…"
That doesn't mean they're instantly taken up into heaven when they are converted. No, that does not take place until the return of Christ. This is a foretelling of what's going to happen with them. They will receive the same salvation as the Church, the Israelites, and the Gentiles received down through time.
"…before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and holding palms in their hands; and they were calling out with a loud voice to Him Who sits on the throne… [that's what they eventually will do right up there on the Sea of Glass] …and to the Lamb, saying, 'The salvation of our God has come.' Then all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, 'Amen. Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power and strength be to our God into the ages of eternity. Amen'" (vs 9-12).
God is going to do great things. Human beings: the greatest thing we could do is love God with all our heart, mind, soul and being and whatever we do after that, that's fine. That's nothing compared to what Christ is going to do. So all of these erstwhile prophets and evangelists who are trying to get people all hyped up at the return of Christ, do not even know what they are talking about. That's quite a thing!
Verse 13: "And one of the elders answered and said to me, 'These who are clothed with white robes, who are they, and where did they come from?' Then I said to him, 'Sir, you know'… [he didn't know how that happen] …And he said to me, 'They are the ones who have come out of the Great Tribulation; and they have washed their robes, and have made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and the One Who sits on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall not hunger any more, nor shall they thirst any more; neither shall the sun nor the heat fall upon them, because the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them to fountains of living waters; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes'" (vs 13-17).
Finally, some salvation to those nations that never, never knew God. There are two organizations that are working hard and that God is using to fulfill this. It is:
- Faith Comes By Hearing
Where they are reading the Bible, recording it, and sending out the whole apparatus, with the whole Bible read, in the language of the people who do not have a written language. They will hear. When Christ said, 'This Gospel shall go out into all the nations for a witness, then shall the end come.' It's going out right now.
- SpaceX
SpaceX is quite a project. It is a private company that sends up satellites. Their whole goal is to surround the earth, everywhere, with Wi-Fi. Meaning that every digital device will be able to get the Word of God, yes, before the tribulation begins. See the two witnesses during their ministry—yes, before they're killed. See some of the other events that are going on.
God is doing this in a way that it is not done in a corner and it is not done in some secret place. It's done here on the earth. God is the one Who decides what is going to happen and who is going to do it; who is going to be resurrected and who is not going to be resurrected. It is His judgment!
God is using those organizations to do those things, because the Churches of God, combined together do not have the resources to do what is necessary to reach the whole world. Can God use people not in the Church to do things? To help, to preach and to reach out?
When it comes out—from Faith Comes By Hearing—it comes out with a player that has a little sun-disk generator so that it will have enough electricity to play anywhere in the world. Isn't it amazing that God would do that for those people who never, never knew a single thing about God.
When does this event happen? This has got to happen on the next to the last Pentecost because this is God's special harvest from the earth in addition to the what the Church has done! So let's give God all the glory and credit.
How long is it from Pentecost to Trumpets? Four and a half months! Those in the 144,000 and great innumerable multitude will be converted for one year: from Pentecost to the next Pentecost, when the resurrection takes place.
The time between everything for the rolling back of the heavens and the earthquake, and everything, there has to be some work done by the rest of the nations to prepare for Rev. 8, 9, 10, and so forth.
Don't you think all their roads and all their railroads and everything are all messed up at this time? Yes, indeed! They will have four and a half months to clean up the mess, and they will know that they're going to have to go to Jerusalem. They will be making ships ready to come around and come into the port of Elate and come straight into the Holy Land. They will have ships coming down from Europe to come into the Holy Land. They will have trains, planes, pipelines, tanks, bombers; all of that coming to the battle of the great day of God Almighty! It is going to be spectacular, which no words can adequately explain it.
Revelation 8:1: "Now, when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar; and much incense was given to him, so that he might offer it with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that was before the throne" (vs 1-3).
This shows that no one has gone to heaven. There are still physical people on the earth, called the saints, who are praying daily:
- O Lord, be with us
- O, Lord, help us
- O Lord, guide us
- praising Him for His salvation
- praising Him for His Holy Spirit
- praising Him for His Truth
That which their fathers have never heard. Think of that.
Verse 4: "And the smoke of the incense went up before God from the hand of the angel, ascending with the prayers of the saints. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth; and there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake. Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound their trumpets. And the first angel sounded his trumpet; and there was hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast upon the earth; and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. Then the second angel sounded his trumpet; and there was cast into the sea as it were a great mountain burning with fire, and a third of the sea became blood; and a third of the living creatures that were in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed" (vs 4-9).
God is letting the world know who He is. We're going to see the only ones who repented were the 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude. The rest of the men won't.
Verse 10: "And the third angel sounded his trumpet, and there fell out of heaven a great star, burning like a lamp; and it fell on a third of the rivers, and on the fountains of waters. Now, the name of the star is Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from drinking the waters because they were made bitter. Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet; and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them were darkened; and a third part of the day did not shine, and likewise a third part of the night" (vs 10-12).
Same way. That's quite a thing. These are great events. Only God can bring these about.
Verse 13: "And I looked; and I heard an angel flying in the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, 'Woe, woe, woe to those who are dwelling on the earth, because of the voices of the remaining trumpets of the three angels who are about to sound their trumpets.'"
Man brings out all of the greatest weapons that he has. We're going to see that's nothing compared to what God is going to do.
Revelation 9:1: "And the fifth angel sounded his trumpet; and I saw a star… [an angel] …that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and there was given to him the key to the bottomless abyss. And he opened the bottomless abyss; and there went up smoke from the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. Then locusts came onto the earth from the smoke; and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was said to them that they should not damage the grass of the earth… [because it has grown back] …or any green thing, or any tree, but only the men who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads.… [they are spared from it] …And it was given to them that they should not kill them… [that is all these locusts coming out] …but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man. And in those days men will seek death but will not find it; and they will desire to die, but death will flee from them. And the appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for war; and on their heads were crowns like those of gold; and their faces were like the faces of men; and they had hair like women's hair; and their teeth were like those of lions. And they had breastplates like iron breastplates; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots drawn by many horses running to war; and they had tails like scorpions, and stingers; and they were given power to injure men with their tails for five months" (vs 1-10).
- What is this secret weapon?
- Who invented this weapon? Satan the devil!
Verse 11: "And they have over them a king, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but the name he has in Greek is Apollyon. The first woe is past. Behold, after these things two more woes are still to come. And the sixth angel sounded his trumpet; and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God; and it said to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet, 'Loose the four angels who are bound in the great River Euphrates.' Then the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were loosed, so that they might kill a third of men; and the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand…" (vs 11-16)—200-million, all the armies of the east! …
Now you know why China is getting more and more powerful. They have a long way to go, yet. But they're going to be so big, great and so strong that they're going to think that they can fight anything. They want to control the whole world their way, which is Satan's way! They'll be drawn into battle.
Verse 17: "And so, I saw the horses in the vision, and those sitting on them, who had fiery breastplates, even like jacinth and brimstone. And the heads of the horses were like heads of lions, and fire and smoke and brimstone shoot out of their mouths." Great, awesome weapons that we don't know anything about.
Who knows what them men are working on. Who knows what Satan is leading them to. Remember, Satan wants to defeat God! This is where he thinks he can do it.
Verse 18: "By these three a third of men were killed: by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone that shoot out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouths; for their tails are like serpents, and have heads, and with them they inflict wounds. But the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands… [all types of men with supernatural, super high-tech weapons] …that they might not worship demons, and idols of gold and silver and brass and stone and wood, which do not have the power to see, nor to hear, nor to walk. And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornications, nor of their thievery" (vs 18-21).
Here we have this year, from Trumpets to Trumpets, from Pentecost to Pentecost. From Pentecost to Pentecost will be fulfilled first.
- Rev 10 is an inset chapter. Exactly how that fits in there, we don't know, but it will happen exactly as it says.
- Rev. 11 is a prophecy of the two witnesses. The two witnesses will be selected by Jesus Christ Himself. They're not going to be ministers from the Churches of God
- Zech. 3 & 4—one of the two witnesses will be the high priest at the coming temple and the other one will be the governor of Judea.
Do you think that the Jews would allow any Gentile to come in to Jerusalem and preach the message the way that the two witnesses do? And have all the power that they have? I think not! After they have finished their ministry:
Revelation 11:7: "And when they have completed their testimony, the beast who ascends out of the abyss will make war against them, and will overcome them, and will kill them. And their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified" (vs 7-8).
After all of this, all of the wars, people are still living. They're thinking, 'Now if we can just get everything together, all of these things, and recover from these wars, everything will be great.' Notice how the people respond:
Verse 9: "'Then those of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations shall see their bodies three and a half days, for they will not allow their bodies to be put into tombs. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, and will make merry, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets had tormented those who dwell on the earth.' Then after the three and a half days, the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And they heard a great voice from heaven, say, 'Come up here!' And they ascended into heaven in a cloud; and their enemies saw them rise. And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven thousand men were killed in the earthquake. And the rest were filled with fear, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming immediately. Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet…" (vs 9-15).
- When does the resurrection occur? At the last trumpet!
- How many trumpets are here in Revelation? Seven!
- Which one is the last trumpet? Seven!
You can't have that on Trumpets, because trumpets blow all day long and you don't know when the last trumpet is going to be. Furthermore, Trumpets is a 'War Feast' and this is a 'Resurrection Feast.' Let's see the message that comes from heaven:
"…and there were great voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign into the ages of eternity.' And the twenty-four elders, who sit before God on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, 'We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come; for You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned" (vs 15-17).
Isn't that something? God is going to take it over in a colossal move!
Verse 18: "For the nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to be judged, and to give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to all those who fear Your name, the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth." When is that given? The seventh trumpet is resurrection from the dead!
Let's see another description of the resurrection of all the saints. Remember it's likened unto grain. Pentecost is the harvest of the firstfruit grain harvest. Remember, the two wave loaves represent the permanently changed saints of God at their time of resurrection who will meet Christ in the air as spirit beings.
Revelation 14:13: "'And I heard a voice from heaven say to me, 'Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from this time forward. Yes, says the Spirit, so that they may rest from their labors; and their works follow them.' And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and one like the Son of man sitting on the cloud, having a golden crown on His head; and in His hand was a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him Who was sitting on the cloud, 'Thrust in your sickle and reap, because the time has come for You to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.' And He Who was sitting on the cloud thrust forth His sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped" (vs 13-16).
Where is everyone going to go who are resurrected? There are some people who still do not believe this. But let's go back and remember, what was the thing that startled everyone, announcing the return of Jesus Christ? The sun that shines from the east to the west in the heaven! That was the sign of the coming of the Son of man. That was shown beginning with Day of Pentecost, in which the 144,000 and great innumerable multitude are sealed. People became accustomed to it because it was there and nothing had happened.
But when the first resurrection takes place, what do you suppose is going to happen? I know that we have to do a little surmising, at this point.
Revelation 15:2: "And I saw a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who had gotten the victory over the beast… [goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden, the serpent] …and over his image… [all of the idolatry down through time] …and over his mark, and over the number of his name, standing on the Sea of Glass…"
How did the Sea of Glass get there? I think that it gets there because that second sun announcing the return of Christ starts moving to the earth! Just before the resurrection, it comes down like it's going to crash into the earth and BOOM! It spreads out into a giant sea of glass.
How many people are going to be resurrected into the first resurrection? We don't know, but we all go up there. The letter that I sent out, you go back and read it. Many things have to occur before we come back to the earth. That will explain it in the letter.
We have to be there also for the marriage supper of the Lamb. It's going to be a great time for the Church and those who are in the first resurrection. For the world, not so great. We'll have to cover that as we get down toward Trumpets.
This has to be the last Pentecost before the beginning of the Millennium!
