Dear Brethren,
In addition to all the domestic problems facing the United States of America, in the past two years, the Obama Administration has ignored, mishandled in dismissive weakness, and ineptly miscalculated the outcome and severity of seven major international problems: in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Russia, Ukraine, Crimea and the Jewish/Hamas conflict in Gaza.
Now we are confronted with the eighth and one of the worst existential threat to the Jews, Europe, the world and the USA directly. From the blackness of the abyss of satanic hell, the world and Western Civilization are being confronted with the ultra-extremist, militant terrorist army ISIS. It is one of the most sinister and blood thirsty, Islamic death-cults the "modern" world has experienced—threatening the entire Middle East. While stalking and conquering parts of Syria and Iraq to create a world-Caliphate, crazed madmen insanely drunk on the blood of 170,000 innocent victims, are viciously killing and destroying all who do not agree with them.
For those who profess any form of Christianity, they force them to renounce their faith and convert to Islam. If not, they bury them alive and behead the children with their swords and display their heads on poles for all to see. They force the men to walk into open graves, make them lie down, and shoot them in their heads. They capture and rape the women and girls, then sell into slavery. They confiscate or destroy the property of their victims. Tens of thousands who escaped into the mountains face death in 100 degree daytime temperatures for lack of water and food. So desperate are they that some parents take their children and throw them off the mountain cliff, rather than have them suffer gruesome tortures at the hands of the crazed ISIS terrorists.
Under intense pressure at home, President Obama, who has known of this existential threat for over a year and one-half, finally, and reluctantly agreed to send some humanitarian aid to the those who fled to the mountains and to use limited military air strikes on various ISIS targets. However, unless these are intensified, they will probably not do much to curb the advance of ISIS armies and their ultimate goal of capturing Baghdad, capital of Iraq. Vowing to conquer the world for radical Islam, their leader Al Baghdadi has boasted that they will raise the black ISIS flag over the White House in Washington D.C.
Now you have a glimpse of what the world is like when American leadership is weak, timid, half-hearted and on vacation while living in a make-believe delusional bubble, hoping that these problems, if simply ignored, will somehow magically go away.
How Will These Events Fit Into Prophecy: Every time major events in the world occur, religionists proclaim the end is at hand! Some of us have heard this for over 50 years—but still the end is not yet! Why? Because God's view of how He fulfills prophecy is far different than our limited view—even if we understand many prophecies! Remember, God fulfills prophecies to the nth degree—100%! No half-hearted fulfillments.
From the time of the Apostles to this day, Jesus' true disciples, as well as many Bible students, have wanted to know: "Lord, when will these things be? When will the end of the world come? When will the kingdom of God be here" This was the last thing that the apostles asked Jesus, just before He ascended into heaven: "So then, when they were assembled together, they asked Him, saying, 'Lord, will You restore the kingdom to Israel at this time?' And He said to them, 'It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has placed in His own authority; but you yourselves shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth.'" (Acts 1:6-8).
However, in the end times God said that we would understand a great many prophecies, as was promised to the prophet Daniel: "And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, 'O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?' And he said, 'Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and refined. But the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand'" (Dan. 12:8-10)
What Jesus said to the apostles at that time in Acts One is still true today. Even the last phrase, "unto the ends of the earth" is a prophecy in its own right! It is evident that the apostles would never get to the ends of the earth during their lifetimes. However, through their God-breathed writings plus the prophecies from the Old Testament, today, their words are reaching to the ends of the earth. Moreover, this ties in with some of Jesus' other prophecies concerning the time leading up to the end of the age—all the events that we are witnessing today: "And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him alone, saying, 'Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the completion of the age?' Then Jesus answered and said to them, 'Be on guard, so that no one deceives you. For many shall come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ"; and they shall deceive many.
"'And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you do not let these things disturb you. For it is necessary that all these things take place, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places. Now all these things are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to affliction, and shall kill you; and you shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then shall many be led into sin, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another;
"'And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many; and because lawlessness shall be multiplied, the love of many shall grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, that one shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed [published Mark 13:10] in all the world for a witness to all nations [to the ends of the earth]; and then shall the end come" (Matt. 24:3-14).
Today, all these events as they unfold are actually preludes to fulfilling other prophecies. These seven major international events, taking place today, are laying the foundation for the fulfillment of the prophecies in Daniel 11. Ultimately, before the actual end comes, there be a "king of the north"on the scene who will arise out of a United Europe; and "a king of the south," who will arise out of the Muslim nations" with a Caliphate in Egypt. All these events in the Middle East are moving toward fulfilling these prophecies.
With the United States in a weak position, Europe faced threats from Russia and the Middle East will be forced to be come more united and develop their own unified military. They will be forced to handle their internal problems with Muslims in their countries. How long will that take? We don't know! However, it will not be done in a few years. It will take much longer.
Perhaps, with all of the fighting and killing in the Muslim countries, it is possible that they will be forced to do as the Egyptians have done! They will have to get rid of all the extreme radical terrorists. Considering all the bloodshed the Muslim countries have been suffering in the past few years, maybe they might even become sick and tired of it. After all, even the most vicious and blood thirsty soon or later have to stop at some point and become more moderate or be killed.
As God's Word reveals, the Jewish/Hamas war is also fulfilling prophecy: "The burden of the Word of the LORD for Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, 'Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people all around, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people [as it is today]. All who burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the nations of the earth be gathered together against it'" (Zech. 12:1-3). That is precisely what is happening today. The world has been trying to solve the Jewish/Palestinian conflict for 66 years. Yet, it remains exactly as God declared!
There is no question that every prophecy of God will be fulfilled exactly as He has decreed. However, whenever people repent, God will honor their repentance and will defer the execution of His judgments to a later time, as He did when the Ninevites repented because of Jonah's proclamation of God's coming destruction because of their sins.
Furthermore, God Himself challenges all prognosticators, religious leaders, idol makers, and those worshiping false gods, to bring forth their causes, their prophecies, and declarations. He says: "'Draw near with your cause,' says the LORD; 'Bring out your strong reasons,' says the King of Jacob. 'Let them bring them out, and declare to us the things that shall happen; let them reveal the former things, what they are, that we may consider them and know the final end of them; or declare to us things to come. Reveal the things that are to come after this, so that we may know that you are gods. Yea, do good, or do evil, so that we may be dismayed and see together.
"'Behold, you are of nothing, and your work is of nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination …. Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know? And beforetime, that we may say, "He is right"? Yea, no one declares; yea, no one proclaims; yea, no one hears your words …. For I looked, and there was no man; and there was no counselor among them, that I might ask and be given an answer. Behold, they are all false; their works are nothing; their images are wind and vanity'" (Isa. 41:21-24, 26, 28-29).
Considering all these things, we need to ask ourselves, "How do we stand before God?" This is especially true when we consider all that God has given to His people today! Remember, obeying God's commandments and instructions and how we live our lives before Him is also determined by our choices and attitudes toward God. The question is this: "Do we really love God the Father and Jesus Christ with all our heart, all our life, all our mind and all our strength?"
Notice the warnings Jesus Christ gave to us, His end-time disciples, in the parable of watching—that is, we are to be watchful, diligent and zealous to do the complete will of God in our lives. We are not to be complacent, self satisfied and slack in our lives toward God the Father and Jesus Christ, as the world is in their modern lifestyles, taking every thing for granted and saying, "We don't have to worry, we will be raptured away from all the evil that is coming!" Jesus warned: "Now as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of man. For as in the days that were before the Flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark; and they were not aware until the Flood came and took them all away; so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of man …. Watch, therefore, because you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have been watching, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
"Therefore, you also be ready. For the Son of man is coming at a time that you do not think. Who then is the faithful and wise servant whom his lord has set over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing. Truly I say to you, he will set him over all his property.
"But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,' And shall begin to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken [living like the world], the lord of that servant will come in a day that he does not expect, and in an hour that he does not know. And he shall cut him asunder and shall appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matt. 24:37-51).
In the light of these events happening, we all need to draw close to God the Father and Jesus Christ through daily study and fervent prayer, so that we may be found in His love and grace.
