(Numbers 1-4)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Sabbath services. Here we are at the end of another Roman year and a lot of things have happened, and a whole lot more is going to happen.
Every couple of years I give the sermon on 14 things to take place in prophecy. We gauge it on a scale of 1-10 with 5 being the tipping point. I haven't given it in several years, so this year, what I'm going to do, is I'm going to spread it over a couple of Sabbaths and make sure that I cover as much as possible, because a lot is happening in the world. Now we are at a point that whatever happens, we get the news, BANG! just like that over the television. We know when things happen.
The things we're going to cover may at times get a little depressing. What I want you to do is go with me through some Psalms and let's see where our protection is. 'God is my Rock, God is my salvation' (Psa. 19).
The reason I'm doing this is so that we can understand. Down through history many things have happened to the people of God. If you haven't seen the DVD, Israel of the Alps, produced by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, that's a very, very interesting and I think very factual presentation. But look what happened to the people in the Church there.
Psalm 27:4: "One thing I have desired from the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life… [that has to do with eternal life] …to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple."
I think as we read these Scriptures, we will see that there are many different fulfillments in the different Scriptures in several different ways.
Verse 5: "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion, in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me upon a rock." Think about that! Hide you and protect you in time of trouble.
- Are we not the Body of Christ? Yes, indeed!
- Is not the Church called the tabernacle of David? (Amos 9, Acts 15). Yes!
Verse 6: "And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies round about me; therefore, I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy in His tabernacle. I will sing; yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD."
The reason I'm going through these things is so that we can understand one thing that is very, very important, though all these things are coming. As gruesome and as terrible as they're going to be—which they will be—we need not lose our focus. We have to adjust to the times that we happen to live in. This is the way we do it:
Psalm 31:19: "Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You before the sons of men!"
There is nothing that can be against us, because God is for us (Rom. 8:28-39). After all, ultimately think of this: the goal is to die in the faith. That's the goal! In these times and difficulties, God will watch over us, protect us, and we will see how important that is that perhaps if your faith is a little shaky, then go back over these every day when you are praying and claim these promises.
Verse 20: "You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plottings of man…" We have the Holy Spirit within us and God's presence includes His Spirit and His angels. Sometimes you think about how something really disastrous happened right close to you and it just missed you. Why? Right here, this tells us:
"…You shall hide them in a shelter away from the strife of tongues. Blessed is the LORD, for He has shown His wondrous loving kindness in a besieged city" (vs 20-21).
Think about that—in a besieged city. Think what it's going to be like to be living in these big cities. I cannot imagine New York City and Los Angeles when things really get tough; it's going to be difficult.
Psalm 36:7: "How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men take refuge under the shadow of Your wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the richness of Your house; and You shall make them drink of the river of Your pleasures" (vs 7-8)—the river that comes out of the throne of God, which are the rivers of life.
Very interesting: "…shadow…" It says the Holy Days are a shadow of the coming things. All of those lead to Christ and His Kingdom.
The Protestants say because it's a shadow, it's all done away. No! A shadow is a foretaste or a foreshadow of the things that are coming. The thing about a shadow is you can't see it until you are standing in it. A shadow is made by something. That's important, because that something is what comes from God.
Psalm 57:1: "Be gracious unto me, O God, be gracious unto me… [that's what we need in the times of trouble] …for my soul trusts in You…" All of this is:
- trusting in God
- faith in Christ
- belief in the Word of God
- loving God
"…in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge until these great troubles pass by. I will cry to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He rebukes him who would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth His mercy and His Truth" (vs 1-3).
This Psalm is the one that you can read quite often, Psalm 91:1: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." If we have the Holy Spirit of God, that puts us under His protection! There comes a time when things will change even with this.
Verse 2: "I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Whom I will trust.' Surely He will deliver you from the fowler's trap and from the destroying pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.…" (vs 2-4).
Jesus said, 'Oh, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, had you known that this was your day, how often would I have gathered you as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings' (Matt. 23:37[transcriber's correction]). So there are a lot of parables and similes we can look at.
"…His Truth shall be your shield and buckler" (v 4). Then you can add in there in times of trouble, God will strengthen us with extra strength.
Verse 5: "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night…" We're living in a time of terror. How many Church people have been killed in terror attacks? I do not know; haven't heard of one!
"…nor the arrow that flies by day, nor for the plague that walks in the darkness, nor for the destruction laying waste at noonday" (vs 5-6). Showing the trouble, that we'll be close to it, it will happen, but look at this:
Verse 7: "A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand; it shall not come near you." You're just going to miss it. A Thousand Shall Fall is a title of a book. I think you can get that at biblesabbath.org, the Bible Sabbath Association.
That is about a German family. They were Seventh-Day Adventists. The father was drafted into the Army and put into the trucking/engineer corps. What he did, when they issued him his pistol. He waited to an appropriate time, made a wooden pistol, made it just like the real one. Then he threw the actual pistol away. He went through the whole war without having to use his gun.
His family, back near Dusseldorf, were protected through all the bombings, were able to have enough food to survive when others were starving to death. At the end of the war, they were all re-united and they immigrated to America. That's quite a story. Then there's another one about going to Siberia, which by the way, Sergei Loganoff sent The Day Jesus the Christ Died to someone in Siberia. We got another letter from Mauritius, down south and east of Madagascar, right close to where the plane disappeared.
Sidebar on the plane: Was that one piece a plant? They don't know where the plane is, but is you owned the plane, you wouldn't want to have it destroyed if you controlled the whole hijack. Just a little thought. Not one piece of luggage, not one piece of anything, other than that one flap from the plane. Time will tell.
Verse 8: "Only with your eyes you shall behold and see the recompense of the wicked." When will that be? We'll see it when Christ returns. We'll see it when the wicked are cast into the Lake of Fire.
Verse 9: "Because you have made the LORD, Who is my refuge… [David talking] …even the Most High, your habitation, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling" (vs 9-10).
The reason I'm going through these things is so we can claim these promises in our prayers.
Verse 11: "For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and asp; the young lion and the jackal you shall trample underfoot. 'Because he [David] has set his love upon Me…'" (vs 11-14). What did Jesus say? 'I love you as the Father has loved Me. The Father Himself loves you.'
"…therefore, I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation" (vs 14-16). Long life is immortality. That's going to be something.
Let's look at the key things that we need to watch for:
- We need to know who and where the ten tribes of Israel are
We have that in the booklet, America and Britain. I've got from the Daily Telegraph in London, it says:
Britain is no longer a Christian country and should stop acting as if it is, says judge
(telegraph.co.uk/education/12036287/Britain-is-no-longer-a-Christian-country-and-should-stop-acting-as-if-it-is-says-judge.html)
I will save that for a little bit later on. Then I have another report about America (unknown source):
Masters of Deceit, from the McAlvany Intelligence Advisor: How the political left took over America
We're headed right into what could be a nightmare that would make all the atrocities of the 20th century look like they were a dress rehearsal.
So, if you've watched some of these things on American Hero Channel about WWII, and everything like that, they figure that in WWII the maximum number of soldiers they had worldwide was 50-million. What does Rev. 9 tell us about the coming armies from the east? 200-million. So, what he's saying is true.
"I think they pushed us over the cliff in every sense. America isn't going to fall, it is falling"—Dr. Alan Keyes
Britain is further down the road.
"This is not just a fight for the United States of America, it is a fight for the civilization itself"—Dr. Peter Hammond.
The plan is for all this to have everything globally in place by 2020. We don't know if it will be or not, but just think about all the things that are facing us as a nation. I'll get into more of that as we go along. The next thing:
2. The Jews
Luke 21 tells us that Jerusalem is going to be surrounded with armies. They're getting a little closer. We have:
- ISIS
- Russia
- NATO
- Iran
- Jews
You talk about living in trouble. How about the Jews in Jerusalem or on the West Bank? Women can hardly even go out to shop, running the risk of being stabbed. They've endured how many rocket bombs coming in for how many years? You talk about being hated. That's something!
We know that the finality of all of the prophesied events is going to take place and end up in Jerusalem.
Zechariah 12:2: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people all around… [That has been that way for how long? Since 1948!] …when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem." How many wars have they had? Three major wars!
Verse 3: "And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.…" Is it a burden today? the whole area? They keep asking for peace talks. How are you going to have peace talks with people who hate each other? How is that going to work?
"'…All who burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the nations of the earth be gathered together against it…. [which it will] …In that day,' says the LORD, 'I will strike every horse with terror, and his rider with madness. And I will open My eyes upon the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, "The people of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God." In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among the sheaves….'" (vs 3-6). So, watch for that war to get really worse.
There's a new report that the little nation of Qatar, they and the Saudi Arabians have made an alliance with the Jews to protect them from Iran, because they can't depend upon America.
This whole thing is really going to get interesting. Also remember that these things come in cycles and in waves. We'll see that the end-time prophecies cannot all be fulfilled until everything is in line. The world scene you can liken to a stage play. You must have all the actors on stage before the final scene.
How many times have people said, 'The end is near, the end is near.' There's one man in jail right now, in federal jail for stealing tithes and offerings. He got convicted and sentenced to four years. He said the year before he went in that next year there will be no Feast of Tabernacles.
So, he's been there two and a half years, going on three right now. Wonder what he's going to say when he gets back. There are people that still support him. That's an amazing thing! 'Oh well, he's persecuted.' No, he's punished because he misrepresented the Word of God. I hope he's repented. I don't wish him any ill.
But there are certain key things that come along that keep us from jumping ahead before it's ready. I remember when all the cities were burning in 1969. We thought, 'The end's just around the corner. We're going to go to a place of safety real soon.' Never happened! I don't know what's going to happen here. Then it shows that God is going to save them in the final analysis.
Let's look at the world. Everything in the world is moving like a giant chessboard to get all the players in place. We have the trouble in the world. We'll talk about it in Europe. We'll talk about the time of the end when we get to it. But we can see that everything is lining up. It may not line up perfectly right now, but eventually things will change and shift and be lined up.
Let's look at some key verses in Matt. 24. Here we're going to see some things we need to be doing now and what is going to take place.
Matthew 24:32: "Now, learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branches have already become tender, and it puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near."
Are you able to know when the fruit will be ripe? No! But you need to watch the things that are going on and taking place. If it gets real hot, then everything will come on real quickly. If it's going to be cold, you don't know how it's going to do.
For example: Most people don't know it, but this year from Trumpets to Trumpets is the last year of a 19-year time cycle. It is a leap year, meaning when you look at when we have the Passover, it's late in April. A leap year, with the synchronized Calculated Hebrew Calendar there is an extra 30-days inserted. Why is that? Because a lunar year, compared to a solar year, is eleven days shorter! So, seven times in the 19-year time cycle there's a leap year; it has 385 days. During Jesus' ministry there were two leap years. Very interesting!
We don't know when summer is going to come. Last year it came early. This year, who knows what's going to happen. I think I'll check with Dwight Blevins and see if he can line this up.
How do the leap years and the 19-year time cycle compare with the El Nino cycles? God is the One who causes all of these things that happen. They don't happen by accident. God has set it. Why does the ocean get so warm during the El Nino times and then cools down during La Nina? No one knows! But they know when we have El Nino, like we have now, that chances are we're going to get a whole lot of rain.
I look at it this way: we don't know how much time there is, but there has to be more time in preaching the Gospel. We'll probably get a lot of rain and end the drought in California, because a whole lot more needs to be done.
Verse 33: "In like manner also, when you see all these things … [every one of these things] … know that it is near, even at the doors. Truly I say to you, this generation…" (vs 33-34).
A lot of people look back and say that was fulfilled right after 70A.D. That fulfilled it. A lot of people say that a generation is forty years, because they were forty years in the wilderness and that's called a generation. But if you take three sets of fourteen in Matt. 1 and do a little research and add up the length of years, you'll find that a generation is in one case close to thirty years; in another case, close to sixty years. So how long is a generation?
That's why we went through the Psalms first, so that we're going to trust in God. We'll see here in just a minute why.
"…all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Truly I say to you, this generation shall in no wise pass away until all these things have taken place. The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My words shall never pass away" (vs 33-35).
As long as heaven and earth is here and you're on the earth, and you can see the heavens, you know the Word of God is going to take place. You know it's going to happen exactly as He has said.
Verse 36: "But concerning that day, and the hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." This is so fantastic that only the Father is going to give the signal, 'Now!'
Verse 37: "Now, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of man. For as in the days that were before the Flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark; and they were not aware until the Flood came and took them all away; so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of man" (vs 37-39). We have to always be aware and watch!
Verse 42: "Watch, therefore, because you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming." We can take this two ways:
- His literal return
- whether we will die in the faith, because God says it's time
Jim and I have talked about this a number of times and both of us figure that we'll be in our place of safety in the grave. God says He takes away the righteous from the troubles that are coming (Isa. 57). So who knows? We're way past twenty, so we don't know how it's going to be.
When Dolores and I were married, I was thirty and she was twenty-one, and we thought it was going to happen in our lifetime, and we were overjoyed that we wouldn't get old. This is where we are, and this helps lead up to all of these things:
Verse 12: "And because lawlessness shall be multiplied, the love of many shall grow cold." That's exactly where we have it today.
This shows what we need to do, v 13: "But the one who endures to the end, that one shall be saved. And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come" (vs 13-14).
There was a time, years ago, when the Church thought—because they were producing 8-million Plain Truth magazines a month—that the Gospel had been preached to the whole world. Not so. We did not have a clue as to what it was going to be in the future. Now what do we have? It can go everywhere and on every cell phone. Soon we are going to have the app for the whole Bible. Now what are you going to do?
When He says it's a witness to all nations, it's going to be a powerful witness. When they think they have that snuffed out, what's going to pop up? The two witnesses!
God does things in such a way that men think that it's never going to happen. They are blinded to the understanding of the Truth, because of what they are doing. They think they are almost invincible. They think they are almost gods.
I watched a program Make/Create/Innovate on CNN International. They have a satellite with its solar panels spread out, not very wide. They fold up when it's launched and they have a big camera on it. They have forty of these now circling the earth. What they're doing, they're mapping the whole world in a way that it's never been mapped before. Around the earth, coming from the North Pole and South Pole together is a magnetic shield around the earth. This is what keeps the asteroids from crashing into the earth. In this area is where they have all the satellites.
Do you suppose that God is going to keep all those satellites going to complete having the Gospel preached to the whole world so that all people can see what's going on in Jerusalem when the two witnesses are there? Never thought of it before! What God does is going to be bigger and greater and more fantastic than we have ever understood.
The Great Tribulation cannot start until this event happens; we can have a lot of things leading up to it:
Verse 15 "'Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy place.' (The one who reads, let him understand.)" Jesus did not speak the words: the one who reads, let him understand. These words were inserted there by John, who canonized the New Testament. Why did he put it in? Let's look at the reasons:
- he knew that the temple had been destroyed completely in 70A.D.
Jesus said, 'Not one stone upon another…'
- he knew that the 'abomination of desolation' did not go into the Holy Place
You read about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70A.D. in Josephus and you find that that didn't happen.
What is the abomination of desolation? That the man of sin, the son of perdition, goes into the Holy Place in the temple in Jerusalem and proclaims himself to be God (2-Thes. 2). That did not happen in 70A.D. So this is why John wrote this, because in writing Rev. 11 he was told to measure the temple. So, at the end-time there will be a temple. So he didn't understand, so he said, "…The one who reads let him understand." That's also added into Mark 13.
Verse 16: "Then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains. Let the one who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house; and let the one who is in the field not go back to take his garments" (vs 16-18).
Those in Judea: when this happens, 'run for them there hills.' That's what it's going to be. That's where the Jews went when the Romans came and invaded.
Verse 19: "But woe to those women who are expecting a child, and to those who are nursing infants in those days! And pray that your flight be not in the winter, nor on the Sabbath; for then shall there be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until this time, nor ever shall be again. And if those days were not limited…" (vs 19-22). The King James says, 'cut short.'
Not a good translation, not necessarily wrong. How many preachers have gotten up there, and you probably heard it through the years, 'You know it's coming, but God is going to cut it short so you better be ready.' No! The days will be fulfilled in the limited time space that God gave it, which is three and a half years.
(go to the next track)
Let's look at some of the things that tell us about the end-time.
Joel 3:9: "Proclaim this among the nations, 'Prepare for war!'…. Isn't it interesting, more and more nations are getting involved in armies and war.
"…Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, 'I am strong.' Gather yourselves and come, all you nations… [all nations are going to be gathered right around there] …and gather yourselves together all around; cause Your mighty ones to come down there, O LORD. Let the nations be awakened and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the nations all around" (vs 9-12). The whole world!
Verse 13: "Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, come down; for the press is full; the vats overflow—for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the Day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision!" (vs 13-14).
That's what's going to happen when Christ returns. Everything is going to lead to this. One thing it says in 1-Thess. 5 that 'when they say peace and security…'
Sidebar about America: We've been in some kind of war the entire history of this nation, with the exception of twelve years.
Fourteen Things to Happen in Prophecy:
- I. Peace and Security
That's going to come suddenly! There's no way we can put it on a 1-10 scale and give a way of measuring that. It's going to come suddenly. The world is going to think, 'Wow, we finally have solved the problem.' When will that come?
Let's come to the book of Daniel. Everything is going to key on the 70th-week of the 70-week prophecy.
Daniel 9:26: "And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off but not for Himself. And the people of the prince… [this is not Christ] … who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. But his end shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week.…" (vs 26-27)—seven-year period.
So, there will come a covenant that will be very deceptive, because it's going to look like there will be peace.
Have you heard of the Hadrian Collider in Cern, Switzerland? Do a little research on that online. They have the magnets in this huge elongated tunnel that has magnetic ability 10,000 times the magnetism of the earth. What they are looking for is the smallest particle they can. In this collider, they're putting in the protons and with that magnetic force they're having them go at such a speed that they want them to collide so they can see what those particles will do.
One of the things they are looking for is what is a black hole? They know in space there are black holes. When stars disintegrate and go into a black hole nothing comes out the other side. So, they are wanting to know:
- What is the power behind that black hole?
- Can we duplicate it on a small level in this Hadrian Collider?
- What kind of weapon can they make with it?
If you have American History channels, watch the things concerning the Fourth Reich and the alien technologies. Hitler actually was only one year behind on winning the war, though it looked like he was losing. That would have been accomplished through three things:
- jet fighters
They had them and they used them. They were fantastic, but they couldn't make enough and they couldn't get the fuel for them to go. Had they been a year earlier, they could have shot almost every bomber plane out of the sky and the fighters that went as escorts for them would have been virtually worthless.
- atomic bomb
They were actually closer than our intelligence thought they were. As soon as Germany surrendered the Americans got hold of the German plutonium, and they took that and made that second bomb that they dropped on Nagasaki.
- huge satellite mirror rotating in space
that could capture the power of the sun and concentrate it and use it as a beam to destroy the enemy.
Had they had those three things, Germany would have won, because what are you going to do against it? Nothing you could do against it! But it wasn't time; that's why God did not allow it to take place.
It makes you wonder, could they save Europe? We'll talk about Europe a little bit later, but something is going to have to happen to bring the beast into power. That's going to be the King of the North, but it will be the whole global world government.
Peace and security! We know what it says against the beast, Revelation 13:4: "And they worshiped the dragon, who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?'"
Is there any force on earth right now, any army that could match that? No, none! Will this be the peace pact that is made in Dan. 9 with the beast when they call 'peace, peace, and there is no peace,' because they have developed this new weapon that if anyone dares go against them, BAM!? I do not know! That is a little speculation.
The closest we can say is we don't know when that period's going to come, but think about the whole world all worn out from terrorist activity, worn out from wars, and everything, when they finally say, 'There's peace, we have it and no one can make war against the beast.' All the nations agree to put all of their nuclear weapons under his control as well. A miracle!
Europe is going to get so bad, there are going to be some terrible things going to happen in Europe. That's probably how it's going to come.
- II. King of the North and King of the South
The King of the North is not there, yet. Dan. 11 talks about the King of the North. Let's understand, so here's a little study for you to do:
In the back of the Holy Bible in Its Original Order, we have a chart: Appendix Y: Chart—Reign of Gentile Kingdoms. I want you to go across and to study this chart and see all of the dates, because when you read some of the prophecies in the Old Testament it sounds like one immediately follows after the other, but it doesn't.
It covers from the time of Babylon, in the days of Daniel, clear to the end and the return of Christ. Look at the rise and fall of all of these empires and parts of the empires. When you read in the book of Daniel, it talks about 'one beast and I saw another beast.' It didn't happen just instantly; there are years in between! That's the point that I want to make with it.
Next time, part two, I'll elaborate a little bit more on this as I get some more information as to what is happening in Europe with all of the so-called refugees coming in. It's bad news!
Daniel 11:40: "And at the time of the end, the King of the South shall push at him…" There is no King of the South, yet, but is there an embryonic caliphate? Yes!
Who is the King of the North? The King of the North is not there, yet, but the leader of the caliphate has sent all of these! I'm going to bring you a tremendous report on that; they know exactly what they are doing. These are no more refugees than soldiers are not killers.
"…And the King of the North shall come against him…" (v 40). We've had some action back against ISIS, but is that the final thing that is actually taking place? No! There are a lot of things that need to happen.
"…like a whirlwind with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries and shall overflow and sweep through" (v 40). No, they're not doing that. There are a couple of ships, the Russians are there, some of the NATO forces are there and some of the other countries are there, but it's sort of a pre-type of what's going to happen.
I think the push has happened with all of these refugees coming into Europe. I'm going to try and get some good video on that. Jonathan edited up some video for me on it, but it's really not that very good. I need to get some other reports.
The King of the North is going to come back down, enter into the countries, v 41: "He shall also enter into the glorious land… [hasn't happened] … But these shall escape out of his hand: Edom… [Esau/Turkey] …and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon." Moab and Ammon are the Jordanians.
Verse 42: "And he shall stretch out his hand also upon the countries. And the land of Egypt shall not escape… [there's a lot that needs to take place] … But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt. And the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall alarm him. Then he will go forth with great fury to destroy and to utterly annihilate many. And he shall plant his royal tents between the seas in the glorious Holy mountain. Yet, he shall come to his end, and none shall help him" (vs 42-45). Verse 45 is the abomination that makes desolate.
There is no official King of the South, but we have a type of it. There is no official King of the North, but could it be that the pushing of all of these refugees in there is going to alarm the Europeans so much and America is not there to help, that there's going to arise another Adolph Hitler, who is going to bring peace? How are they going to solve the problem? This is a terrible and hideous problem! Will they have to send them all back? How is it going to work?
Just to give you a little hint of how people will receive that in Europe:
- How are people receiving what Donald Trump said, 'We're going to send them all back'?
- What do you think the beast is going to be able to say in Europe when he comes to power? 'We're going to send them all back!'
- How did they get there? They walked there!
- How are they going to go back? Walk them back!
- How long that will take>
- What will happen in between
- How many years may be involved in this?
- We don't know!
So, this is why we need to look at these prophecies in a little different way.
King of the North and King of the South on a scale of 1-10, we can probably say—since the background is now there, laid to be set—3 on a scale of 10. So, let's watch and see what happens out of Europe. We'll talk about Britain also in part two because Britain's another case. Britain is at the point they are almost overtaken by the 'stranger within' them. Really sad case indeed!
- III. World Trade
Out of the world trade what do we have? All these agreement, all the trading, everything going on! I've talked about the world currency coming and it's going to come. But what has to happen first? The dollar must collapse! It's already being eroded a little bit. Progress toward that is coming!
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and world bank is controlled by the United States, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, and now they have just let China come in. The Chinese RMB (renminbi, official currency of China) or yuan can now be interchangeable with those currencies and can be used in payment for exports and imports. There are already some countries who are beginning to buy oil and pay for it with the RMB. Not many. But there will come a time when that will be a reality.
You look at the currencies—the dollar, the pound, the euro, the Swiss franc—combined together at this time, that's a pretty strong setup. Then you add China into it. China is only given a 10% voting share on the IMF, but that will increase.
Sidebar: The world currency, some say it may gold-backed. Here's the thing on gold-backing and the American depression in 1930, the U.S. economy was actually recovering until Britain with its financial problems had to take the pound off the gold standard. BANG! That sent the whole world economy into a tailspin because the world economy was based on the British pound.
It was not until after WWII that it then shifted over to the U.S. dollar as the world currency. They say that they want to have the world currency backed by gold. The problem is gold is hard to move around and change, countries and banks and things like that. They will declare gold worth so much and the new world currency will be based on that. They're still going to have paper money, supposedly backed by gold.
In the things that I've read about it, those who believe in gold-backing also admit what I just said, that there will come a time that they're going to have to have more money. If you have a gold-back, what do you have? You can't make any more money, because you have the declared value of say $3,000 an ounce. In this book he said $8,000 an ounce.
You print all the money you can and all the gold reserves everywhere, because the population is increasing, world trade is increasing, and you are going to hit a limit on the money you can print. So the solution is you get the gold board together and they re-evaluate gold, and say, 'Okay, it was worth $8,000 an ounce. We now declare its $10,000 an ounce, so therefore, we have a 25% increase in the amount of gold-backed money we can print.
The long and short of it is that every system of money on fractional reserves or fractional gold reserves always reaches a limit where you must inflate. So, if you go from $8,000 an ounce to $10,000 an ounce, you've inflated by 20%.
Today we do the same thing, but we just print it. The different governments—the parliaments or congress—get together and say, 'We need more money.' The central bank says, 'Authorize some notes to be given to us and we'll print the money.'
You remember the short thing we saw on how money is made. It's made out of nothing. The parliament or congress sends them the bonds, billions worth of money, and then the Federal Reserve authorizes the Treasury Department to print more dollars. That whole system has got to collapse in order for there to be the new world currency.
- What's going to happen after the world currency?
It's going to happen shortly afterwards.
- What's one of the biggest problems in the world today? Who are you? Identification!
That will be the solution!
- IV. Mark of the Beast
If the mark of the beast is enforced, which it will be, it will be a progressive thing that will take place. It won't happen instantly.
Revelation 13:16: "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, to receive a mark in their right hands, or in their foreheads."
We're getting close to it. How many credit cards do you have? They even have it now, if you have two smart phones, just kiss them and you can transfer money. There will be a lot of fraud in the world banking system. What's going to happen? You can't trust anybody, you must identify everyone, so now we need the mark of the beast!
Verse 17: "So that no one may have the ability to buy and sell unless he has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
When that happens, that will be the ultimate control. They have invisible tattoos. What an inducement that will be, because today we cannot survive without buying and selling. For a while there may be an underground barter system, but that won't last for long. They'll say:
- Don't you want to feed your family?
- Don't you want to take care of your kids?
- It won't hurt.
- You won't even see it.
- You'll be guaranteed access to money, to funds, to goods, to services.
But they won't tell you that they will control you through the microwave system that will go with that mark of the beast. They're already working on that to have it. They can 100% control you by buying and selling. That is true, but they can't control your thoughts!
That's what it's going to be, because when you get the mark of the beast, you give up your free choice. That's why God says for all Christians, 'Do not take it!'
We don't know how much of a fight there's going to be over it. We don't know all the facts that will come about. This is just a description of the final analysis. We'll just have to wait and see how it's going to take place.
It is true they can control you. But they want to control your thoughts, and they're working on that. There are a lot of experiments around the world where they're doing that. We'll just have to wait and see how that comes, but it will!
