Greetings, brethren! Welcome to Sabbath services.
Everybody's hoping that Donald Trump will be the man to save us. But always remember: You cannot solve spiritual problems by political means. You must solve the spiritual problems first; then the politics will work if you have the right politics.
Right now we'll go back and we will review a little bit concerning the King of the North and the King of the South. Let's understand that there is probably quite a bit of time to take place.
I had to go through a whole stack of things just to summarize, to bring it down to a level that we're not weighted down with too much. Have you ever heard of 'Hijrah'? What is it? It is large-scale mass migrations that become invasions. This actually describes what has been going on in Europe. It comes from the Koran, which says:
And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many locations and abundance. It's little known but this mass current Hijrah in Europe has been one of those things that's been supported by ISIS. They actually give them money, send them out, tell them where to go. So, you're seeing the results of it in Europe.
You've heard of jihad? Did you know there are four jihads?
- jihad of murder, that is kill people
- the civilization jihad, which is where they go take over civilizations
That's what they're doing right now in Europe.
- there is a jihad of textbooks, because they're teaching Allah in schools, because it's not Christian
- there's the jihad of money, so we'll see how that works out
You've heard me say quite a few times, and I've written about this as well, that sooner or later Turkey is going to get involved in the Middle East problem. That will work out because the United States and Europe are not willing to put any more troops, except what is necessary to bomb ISIS, into the Middle East.
The Syrians have come in and done some things in Turkey. When you consider the past history of Turkey with the Ottoman Empire, and they controlled all the Middle East with their empire, and that ended in 1919.
They have the largest army and the most efficient, and the most combat experts in the Turkish army. Their army consists of 400,000. They also have a lot of modern equipment, tanks and planes, and so forth. I expect in the not-too-distant future here that they will make an agreement with Turkey to have their troops come in, because they are Sunni, and get rid of the Shiite, and help administer peace in these countries. Turkey will be able to do it. That will work for a while.
Not only did the prime minister of Czechoslovakia say, 'We should not have any Islamic people in Europe,' so did the country of Hungary. Very few people realize that Romania and Hungary were under the domination of the Muslims for 150 years. Istanbul is supposed to be the hiding place of Suleiman's heart, a sacred thing that the Muslims want to get.
The first country to go down will probably be Belgium. They are going to call it Eurabia.

Now, we're right there with shaky economic things right now around the world. We know that that will eventually lead to the mark of the beast. It's also going to cause greater problems in Europe and will lead to the rise of the European leader who will be the beast.
Some people are saying that the antichrist will be a Muslim. The Bible doesn't show that. You look at the King of the North and the King of the South and you can go through history clear back to Rome. Then all the fighting that occurred there in the Middle East, and all those things going on, as we saw in that historical clip by the professor from Tennessee. They want to take over Europe, actually take over the whole world. That's going to really cause some problems with the economic difficulties that are occurring.
Right now in Canada: Most people don't understand it, but Canada imports a great deal of its food. The Canadian dollar went down from a high, at one point several years ago, to buy $1.00 Canadian with U.S. money would cost you $1.30. Now the value is down to buy one Canadian dollar cost you $.70. So, there is an escalation of prices, it says here:

Their currency was also dependent on oil. Now that oil is down at about $29 a barrel, as a result they're looking for a recession worse than 2008.
When you think about all the problems that we have now, if it turns out that there is a great depression in America it will start in China. China has some great problems.

One secret they're not telling you is this: They say that China's going to come out really good if there's a depression. Probably not, because they have more debt than America. They've had to use some of their reserves to save the stock markets. They used to have $6.1-trillion in cash reserves. They now have $3.3-trillion. Where did it go? To try and save their stock markets!
So we have covered in parts 1-3 of 14 Things to Happen in Prophecy:

I just ask you to go home and look at what you have at home and where it was made.
IV. Mark of the Beast
I'll tell you a little story about that. The mark of the beast will come! It has to do with buying and selling. If you can't buy and you can't sell, then they can control you. But they will not be satisfied with that. You wait and see. They're going to have many more avenues of control that they will want to use. Eventually it will come down to… and of course of the mark of the beast it says:
Revelation 13:16: "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, to receive a mark in their right hands, or in their foreheads; so that no one may have the ability to buy and sell unless he has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" (vs 16-17).
We can find quite a few things connected with the Catholic Church and with the Roman emperors of the past, and so forth, where 666 is involved. That is true, but this will apply to the end-time. They're trying to get you to use less cash and less checks. Just yesterday I had to buy something. I got out my checkbook and I wrote out a check and gave it to them. They ran it through their system that they have and it came back unaccepted.
So, I said, 'Try it again.' Came back unaccepted. The clerk said, 'I can't accept it.' I said, 'Well, why not? You want to turn away business? You want to turn away customers?' I said, 'Why don't you get a supervisor here and see if she can approve it.' So she came out and said, 'No, we can't do it because you're not in our system.' You don't even need a mark. You can't even use a check.
Because I got such a good deal on it, the price was $119 and I got it for $69.90. I used my credit card to buy it, and it went through.
Another little sidebar: I ordered some checks recently, because mine were running out. Normally they came in a pack of thirty checks and with about five or six deposit slips. This time they came with twenty-five checks and three deposit slips. So, the squeeze is on. Then the new credit cards that you have, have a little special chip in them. Now you don't swipe that one, because they are getting the equipment now, you put your card into a slot so it can read that little chip that you have. That will come about; we're getting closer and closer to it.
As I have mentioned before, when the bankers are able to have digital money, they don't have to worry about debt, because they can just have an official committee, make an official decision, and increase the number of the digital debt to create cash that they need.
Someone asked: If all are required to take it—the mark of the beast—how is it that those of the 144,000 looks like they may have avoided it? It will take a time to enforce! It's not going to be something that can done around the world all at once. But the 144,000 from the children of Israel: maybe there's going to be a resistance of it, and maybe there will be for a time some bartering, and things like this, so that there will be some people who won't have it.
I don't know about the Americans, but I think the Americans will resist it probably more than any other people. However, right now Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have between 95% and 98% for Sweden all digital transactions. No cash!
For a number on how far along is the mark of the beast, let's put that 7-8 on a scale of 10. Watch the little things that come along. I'm sure it's going to be pretty soon, someplace you go to buy something, you have cash to pay for it, and they say, 'Sorry, we can't take cash.' Remember, none of these things occur unless Christ makes them occur! The great events at the end are sealed and only Christ can open them!
- V. Opening the Seals
Revelation 6:1: "And I looked when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures say, like the sound of thunder, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a white horse; and the one who was sitting on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering, and to conquer" (vs 1-2).
So, let's put in here the next thing, while we're looking at the King of the North, the King of the South, and so forth, which is the ecumenical movement to bring all religions together! The pope is right on the cutting edge of doing that.
First seal that is opened: this one may have been opened to bring the religions together. Or, it may not have been opened in the way that we think it will be, rather what is happening now to the preliminary work to bring them together is what is taking place. The white horse, that's a counterfeit Christ.
Second seal, I think, will be opened when the King of the North comes against the King of the South. That will set the stage for world war.
Verse 3: "And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, 'Come and see.' And another horse went out that was red; and power was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth, and to cause them to kill one another; and a great sword was given to him" (vs 3-4). Then follows immediately. Now today this will happen very rapidly.
Verse 5: "And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a black horse; and the one sitting on it had a balance in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, 'A measure of wheat for a silver coin, and three measures of barley for a silver coin: and see that you do not damage the oil and the wine'" (vs 5-6).
Look at how quickly that food supplies will run out, because we're all in metropolitan areas. Even this snow storm back east; they said, 'Everybody get some supplies for at least three or four days.' On the news you see shelves of the supermarkets empty: shovels gone, little tractors gone, snow blowers gone. Think of what it's going to be when there is a war.
Look at how bad it is right now in the Middle East with just these skirmishes that are happening. It's going to be difficult. So, it will come fast!
This will affect this part of the earth, v 7: "And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a pale horse; and the name of the one sitting on it was Death, and the grave followed him; and authority was given to them over one fourth of the earth…" (vs 7-8). Which one-fourth of the earth will that be? We don't know!
"…to kill with the sword and with famine and with death, and by the beasts of the earth" (v 8).
Who is going to take all the blame? All the Christians! Then there will be the martyrdom of the saints, the fifth seal.
The sixth seal is going to be the appearance of the Son of man in the heavens. That's going to shock the world.
Let's stop and think for a minute here. The Bible says 'every eye shall see Him.' How are they going to see Him? When the sixth seal opens a dramatic event is going to take place! We will see what that is.
When the King of the North comes down into Egypt, and then goes into the Holy Land, that will be the 'abomination of desolation' when he goes into the temple. The Jews will build a temple. He will declare himself to be God, because the false prophet will proclaim him that he is God. That's when the Tribulation begins, which is the second seal. Then those who are in Judea are to flee to the mountains.
Matthew 24:27: "For as the light of day… [What is the light of day? The sun!] …which comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be."
This is a descriptive introduction of what's going to follow. The Bible does that in many cases. It tells you an outline of what is going to follow, and then tells you the details. That's what it does here.
Verse 29: "But immediately after the Tribulation of those days…" This has to be the Tribulation against Israel. This is not the end of the wars and destruction. There is a whole lot more to take place. How do we know?
This is what happens when the Tribulation comes upon Israel, Hosea 5:15: "I will go; I will return to My place until they confess their guilt and seek My face… [When does Israel seek the face of God?] …in their affliction they will seek Me earnestly."
Here's what they will say, Hosea 6:1: "Come and let us return to the LORD, for He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days…" (vs 1-2). If a day is a year in prophecy, this is two years. How long is Great Tribulation? Three and a half! The Tribulation in those days has to be the Tribulation against all twelve tribes of Israel.
"…He will revive us… [after two days or two years] …in the third day… [beginning of the third year] …He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight" (v 2). If you take away two years from three and a half years, and maybe a little bit of time more, how much do you have left? A year and a half!
Verse 3: "Then we shall understand, if we follow on to know the LORD. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth."
Matthew 24:29: "But immediately after the tribulation of those days… [after two years] …the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light… [we will see this in Rev. 8] …and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven…" (vs 29-30). What is the sign of the Son of man? He described it first, which looks like the sun (v 27)!
"…and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet; and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other" (vs 30-31).
Of course, that's looking down on the earth, and the angels are gathering them and bringing them to the Sea of Glass.
Let's put this together and follow the track of it. Here's what's going to happen, which will fulfill those things in Matt. 24:
Revelation 6:12: "And when He opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as the hair of sackcloth, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the heaven departed like a scroll…" (vs 12-14).
Suddenly opening up and something new is going to appear. What is that something new that's going to appear? The sign of the Son of man, which looks like a second sun. That's why every eye will see Him and for how long? A year and a half!
Verse 15: "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the powerful men, and every bondman, and every free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, 'Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of His wrath has come, and who has the power to stand?'" (vs 15-17).
Think of all the destruction that takes place when the earth is shaken like this. And the earthquakes take place.
Revelation 7:1: "And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that the wind might not blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to damage the earth and the sea, saying, 'Do not damage the earth, or the sea, or the trees until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads'" (vs 1-3).
This ties in with Hos. 6, where the children of Israel repent, and they are in captivity. Notice it has to be the twelve tribes:
Verse 4: "And I heard the number of those who were sealed…" Why are they sealed? They are given the Holy Spirit. Can God do it under the supervision of an angel? Of course!
"…one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel" (v 4). Does that not tie in with Hos. 6, 'Let us return to the Lord'? Yes, indeed! The tribe of Judah fulfills another prophecy: 'He will save the tents of Judah first.' There it is right there. Then he lists all the twelve tribes. Then because of everything that took place, great innumerable multitude from all nations also repent. Then let's clear up another thing here: all of those will be saved and be in the first resurrection. How do we know?
Because it says, v 9: "After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number, out of every nation and tribe and people and language, was standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and holding palms in their hands."
Some people think they immediately go to heaven. No! That's telling you where they are going to be. No one goes to heaven until—actually carried up in the air to the first heaven where the Sea of Glass will be—the seventh trump, which is the first resurrection. This is telling us who they are and what their reward will be. But it doesn't happen instantly.
How do we know? Rev. 8 & 9 tell us. If they went to heaven at that point, and all of the people who were martyred went to heaven when they died, would there be any saints left on the earth? No! Let's see it here. You can go back through the rest of it to find out about it.
Revelation 8:1: "Now, when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar; and much incense was given to him, so that he might offer it with the prayers of all the saints…" (vs 1-3).
If they are in heaven, there is no need for them to pray. But if they are on the earth, their prayers go up like incense. So, this tells us that the 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude are praying to God for safety, for protection and their prayers go up to God.
Here we have the next thing to happen: the beginning of the last year and a half of the Tribulation coming upon the whole world!

I kind of got ahead of myself on this, but that's okay.. Let's recapitulate here.

Rev. 8—this is the King of the North who came down and took over Jerusalem in the Middle East and who heard tidings out of the north and the east. That's what this Rev. 7 is leading up to.
The first part of Rev. 8 talks about God's direct intervention, as we saw with the prayer of the saints. These things come very quickly—one, two, three, four. Then we have three more woes to go.
Rev. 9 talks about how this is where it's fulfilled where the King of the North goes from the Middle East to attack north and east. That's Russia, all of the nations east and China. He has a secret weapon that torments them for five months, as if they've been stung with a scorpion; this is the King of the North and that's the power that he has.
Revelation 9:4[transcriber correction]: "And it was said to them… [the locusts that come out and the power that they had] …that they should not damage the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only the men who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads."
If they're already up in heaven, why would he have to say that? Who are the ones who were sealed? 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude! So, they are still on the earth.
Sometimes when you read parts of Rev. 7 that they immediately go to heaven before the throne of God. That's not true. That's telling you where they will end up, but it doesn't tell you the timing. When it gives that summary, it gives the impression, but you have to have other things to balance that out.
Then the second part of Rev. 9 is the kings of the east and the number of their army is 200-million.
We've kind of got ahead of ourselves by going through Revelation the way we did. Let's come to #8. There must be a temple. Let's look at some of the things concerning the temple. We thought we'd be able to see the video of the temple, but we don't have it. We'll see if we can get it at a later time.

How do we know there's going to be a temple? A lot of people say, 'No, there won't be a temple, the Jews won't build a temple.'
If you go to the Temple Institute (templeinstitute.org) and look up what they have, they have so many things ready to go. When it comes time for them to build it, they'll be able to build it in quite a short time. They're already training the priesthood. A lot of the fighting that is going on now is because the Jews want to put it where the Mosque of Omar is. That's not where the temple really should be, but should be south of there. That's another whole sermon in itself.
Here's the conundrum that you have with the temple. The Tribulation cannot start until the 'abomination of desolation.'
Matthew 24:14: "And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come."
That means all nations existing at the time of the end. Now we have the means to do it with the Internet, with all the digital things that we have. There are many who are preaching different aspects of prophecy; some of it correct, some of it not correct. But people are hearing many different things.
Verse 15: "'Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy place.'.… [leave out this parenthetical statement]: …(the one who reads, let him understand)." Just hold that. That should be there, and we'll get back to it.
Verse 16: "Then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains. Let the one who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house; and let the one who is in the field not go back to take his garments" (vs 16-18). They are to run to the mountains in the east.
This shows that the King of the North is in Jerusalem and the 'abomination of desolation' is going to stand in the Holy Place. When that happens, that's going to trigger the Great Tribulation.
Verse 21: "For then shall there be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until this time, nor ever shall be again."
When you see the 'abomination of desolation' stand in the Holy Place, then there shall be great tribulation.
I've covered this many times, so many of you probably already know it, but many of you many not know it. Why is this statement: "…(the one who reads, let him understand) (v 15)? If anybody has a red-letter Bible, if that's in red letters, that's incorrect because Jesus didn't say it. He was speaking. How did that statement get in there? "…(the one who reads, let him understand)." It lies in this fact: the Apostle John was given the vision of everything in the book of Revelation. He was told in Rev. 11, let's see what it says:
Revelation 11:1: "Then the angel gave me a measuring rod like a staff, saying, 'Arise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it.'"
What did John see take place to the temple in 70A.D.? It was destroyed! There was no abomination of desolation that took place when it was destroyed in 70A.D. Here he's told to measure the temple. How can he measure it if it's been destroyed, unless it is a future temple?
In canonizing the New Testament, John inserted the statement in parenthesis here: "…(the one who reads, let him understand)." He didn't understand it, and he knew that something had to take place. So, God inspired him to put in there: "…(the one who reads, let him understand)." There has to be a temple at the end-time in order for the prophecies to be fulfilled.
What is the 'abomination of desolation'? The one under Antiochus Epiphanies was the slaughtering of swine on the altar. The one at the end-time is going to be greater than that. It's going to be the beast-power who will be proclaimed as God!
What does Revelation tell us about what the world does with the beast-power? They will worship him! They worship Satan! They're also told to make an idol or a statue unto the beast that had the deadly wound that was healed!
Though 2-Thess. was the second epistle that Paul wrote, it has never been fulfilled. In order for it to be fulfilled, there must be a temple. Of course, John in canonizing the New Testament knew of what was in 2-Thess. 2.
2-Thessalonians 2:1: "Now, we beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him." When will that take place? At the time of the end!
Paul is talking about Christ returning and our resurrection. Gathering together to Him, which then is Rev. 14 & 15 on the Sea of Glass.
Verse 2: "That you not be quickly shaken in mind, nor be troubled—neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by epistle, as if from us, saying that the day of Christ is present. Do not let anyone deceive you by any means because that day will not come unless the apostasy shall come first…" (vs 2-3).
What is the greatest apostasy? The whole world worshiping the beast and Satan! Wouldn't you say that would be the greatest apostasy? Yes, indeed!
"…and the man of sin shall be revealed—the son of perdition, the one who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God…" (vs 3-4).
Titus didn't do that when he oversaw the destroyed temple in 70A.D. He didn't go into the Holy of Holies and say he was God. He didn't say he was greater than God. What he did say was, 'This could not have been done unless God were with us.' So this has never happened.
"…above all that is called God, or that is an object of worship; so that he comes into the temple of God and sits down as God, proclaiming that he himself is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And now you understand what is holding him back in order for him to be revealed in his own set time" (vs 4-6). What is "…his own set time"? Just before the Day of the Lord! Just before the resurrection!
Verse 7: "For the mystery of lawlessness is already working…" This tells us that it cannot be a Muslim, because Mohammed didn't start until the 600sA.D. This tells us it has to be the mystery of lawlessness already working, and that is the false Christian system that we have today. He's being held back.
Verse 8: "And then the lawless one will be revealed (whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth…" Who is the one who gives the order to take the beast and the false prophet to be put into the Lake of Fire? Comes out of the mouth of Christ!
"…and will destroy with the brightness of His coming); even the one whose coming is according to the inner working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders" (vs 8-9). Isn't that what the beast is going to have? Isn't that what the false prophet is going to say, that this is God?
So, when you come to the temple and the two witnesses, #8 and #9, we have it here, Revelation 11:2: "But leave out the court that is within the temple area, and do not measure it because it has been given up to the Gentiles; and they shall trample upon the Holy city for forty-two months." Isn't it interesting—42 months?
This is the thing that helped me understand what the difference was in some of these prophecies, is that we were always told that 42 months is the same as 1260 days. But it's not.
Revelation 13:3: "And I saw one of his heads as if it were slain to death, but his deadly wound was healed; and the whole earth was amazed and followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?'" (vs 3-4). He proclaimed himself to be God he was so powerful.
Verse 5: "And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to him; and authority was given to him to continue for forty-two months."
- 42 months is the evil reign of the beast, which is 3-1/2 years.
- 12 months in a year, 42 months—3-1/2 years.
W when the beast comes in, he's going to make a peace pact, but he'll break it in the middle of the week, the middle of seven years (Dan. 9). That's the first three and a half years, which will be peace exhuberation, adoration, proclamation, 'how wonderful, we've solved all the problems of the world and here is our man.' Then BANG! 2-Thess. is going to take place.
Rev. 13:6: "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. And he was given power to make war against the saints, and to overcome them; and he was given authority over every tribe and language and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (vs 6-8).
There is the beast, 42 months after the deadly wound was healed. So, in Rev. 11 we find that 42 months has been given over to him. Now the two witnesses come on the scene. This is how I determined it. When does the beast be thrown into the Lake of Fire? Would you say that would end the 42 months? He dies! That's when Christ and the saints return to the earth.
The two witnesses are a little different. So, to finish this off with the beast, you count back—you have to make a Holy Day assumption—to the earth on the Day of Trumpets. You count back 42 months from Trumpets, and that's when the beast comes on the scene.
Revelation 11:3, the two witnesses: "And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees… [Zech. 4] … and the two lampstands that stand before the God of the earth" (vs 3-4).
These are not the churches. Used to be said in the past that the two lampstands represent two churches: the Philadelphians and Laodiceans. Not so! These are different, special lampstands of God that stand before the God of the earth.
There's one man who proclaims that he is the 21st century apostle of God, and that he is so great that God is going to give him authority over the two witnesses. Won't happen! They are directly under God. That's what God says, so if you want to argue against God, have at it and see how that works out.
When do the two witnesses end their ministry? 1,260 days! Let's see how that happens:
Verse 4: "These are the two olive trees, and the two lampstands that stand before the God of the earth. And if anyone attempts to harm them, fire will go out of their mouths and devour their enemies.…" (vs 4-5).
That's going to be really a thing to see. What do you see in some of the movies today? Some of these different men and creatures, fire goes out of their mouth! Satan is programming everybody on earth!. He's got the latest thing to really do it. It is called, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which heralds a greater reign of Satan the devil. They're all prepared for it.
"…For if anyone attempts to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have authority to shut heaven so that no rain may fall in the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they will. And when they have completed their testimony, the beast who ascends out of the abyss will make war against them, and will overcome them, and will kill them. And their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations shall see their bodies three and a half days, for they will not allow their bodies to be put into tombs. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, and will make merry, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets had tormented those who dwell on the earth" (vs 5-10).
God always has a surprise. The victory always goes to God, even though it looks like the enemy did win. You think after 3-1/2 years of trying to kill them, think how many attempts were made against their lives. Think how many special assassins were burned to a crisp. We don't know, but it says enemies, not enemy. That's why they're going to rejoice. 'Finally, we got this thing under hand here.'
Verse 11: "Then after the three and a half days, the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood on their feet… [Hello! Surprise!] …and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And they heard a great voice from heaven, say, 'Come up here!' And they ascended into heaven in a cloud; and their enemies saw them rise" (vs 11-12).
That is the first of the first resurrection. The firstfruits of the first resurrection, where the last ones to be killed and they're the first ones resurrected. Resurrected and then while they are on the way to heaven to meet Him in the air, the first heaven of the earth, not where the throne of God is, yet.
Verse 13: "And in that hour there was a great earthquake… [v 14]: The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming immediately. Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign into the ages of eternity.' And the twenty-four elders, who sit before God on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, 'We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come; for You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned. For the nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to be judged, and to give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to all those who fear Your name…'" (vs 13-18).
That is the resurrection described right there beginning with when they rose in the air!
There have to be the two witnesses. They're not yet on the scene. The Tribulation cannot start until there is the 'abomination of desolation.' The 'abomination of desolation' cannot take place until there is a temple built, because there's no place to have a Holy Place that can be turned into an abomination. Wouldn't that be the worst abomination of all, a man possessed by Satan the devil going into the Jewish temple and saying that he is God?
Since Pentecost is the day of the resurrection of the firstfruits, how do we know when the two witnesses begin their ministry? We have 1,260 plus 3-1/2 days, so you count from Pentecost back! That puts the two witnesses just before the beast-power comes into the temple! Interesting!

That's how I determined it. If you know the event that is at the end, you can get a timeframe to put it in. The overall timeframe is described by Dan. 7, the last week, which is seven years.
In the midst of the week, 3-1/2 years, 3-1/2 years, then all these events come together.
